This time, I had so many new things to share, I didn't title the blog at all. I would have titled it, "What a Difference a Day Makes." I've had my family home for 4 days and they leave tomorrow. I don't know why having that 5th day made such a difference, but somehow it did. Everyone relaxed just a little bit more.

Sometimes all we need is a little umph to get through the day or feel like we've arrived at our destination all intact. I think that extra day today, and traveling tomorrow instead, helped each of them in their own way, and it made it more enjoyable to me.

I had my first home Thanksgiving on Thursday in more than 5 years. I don't recall the last time I did. On Friday, I traveled the two hours 'home' to see more family. It's a trip I rarely make and something that normally exhausts me. I'm tired, but it was rich and wonderful and so great.

I didn't do so much yesterday but today I had renewed energy once more, and we went to dinner. And the joy of the moment, I haven't had to use my wheel chair since my new doctor helped with new meds. I had an extra day with the guys, and what a difference a day makes.
