The Witches Warn -- Something Wicked This Way Comes -- Featuring Chop Zuey and !Lybra! From The Instruments

The scene opens, and a fearsome group of witches chant and prophecy, whispering words in an Olde English tongue, and MacBeth enters. One of the great stories of William Shakespeare, and fraught with all the excitement of earthly gasp and second-worldly wisdom, inspires this new set of jewelry from Chop Zuey. Thank you Belle for making more than jewelry. You always have a story to share, a tale to tell, and an adventure for us to take with you when we wear your ingenious pieces.
Second Witch:
"By the pricking of my thumbs,
Something wicked this way comes.
Open, locks,
Whoever knocks."
Karina by Lybra made me smile because during the years I took Russian in college, I had to sign my name КАРИНА - which when translated to the alphabet more of us recognize, Karina. There are a thousand ways to make something flexible and something traditional in Second Life clothing design, but it at times feels like only two or three ways may be used by many. When I put on this dress, there were layers of skirt that moved with unique flair, something fresh and different, around a sweetheart bodice, and I loved it. I really enjoy the artistry of the fashion industry, and when artists like those behind the name Lybra create a gown, I know it's not just another gown but something special.

Wrapping Up the Charity Event DEbRA - Featuring !Lyrical B!zarre Templates, ~ghee, Sabra Style, DE Boutique, October's 4Seasons and Dulce Secrets

I was sure I was done with Halloween but with this terrific hat from Kylie Sabra at Sabra Style sharing her version of a Good Witch Galinda's hat, I had to don it for my photos last night. I've really just had a blast with all of your fun little things, all that you've created from cyborg eyes to creepy spiders to good witch's hats. Fun!
I have the second to the last item on today that I want to share from the week long DEbRA event. This dress from Lyrical B!zarre Templates supports the ongoing research and needs of the The Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Associate of America. You can read more about it and donate directly to the cause if you visit debra.org and hopefully you will drop by the event in world before it closes its doors tonight.
DE Boutique has new shoes, a selection of them including the pair seen here. I love the name of them simply because the name is long and complicated, Kirazissimo. It sounds like a friend's pet name, like Kira and bellissimo smushed together for the fun of it. For whatever reason, it doesn't change the fact that they're heels designed with a closed toe, simple and chic in several colors.

Dulce Secrets created a set of mesh eyes recently for one of the events and when I entered the word 'purple' into my trusty dusty help me make some order out of my inventory search button, I found them! So this is a rare time you see me not wearing the eyes that are traditionally in just about every style I create.

~ghee has some cramazing smash hot new tights they created for the recent AW14 fashion release and I've found so many uses for them. I got all 12 colors so I could mix and match and one was a deep purple suited excellently to add warmth to my look. Sexy. Practical. Super chic. Life is good.

Sharing Halloween With One of Carrie's Lingerie Model/Assistants -- Featuring Carrie's Lingerie, Chop Zuey and Truth

I dropped by Carrie's Lingerie, late last night in my world. Every now and then I have an insomniac's night. Thank heavens it never got as bad as "The Narrator" in Fight Club or Trevor Resnik from The Machinist. When I have those odd hours, I'm grateful for the people who live in other time zones around the world. I get a brief but fun chance to catch up in their worlds while mine is a bit topsy turvy. When I visited, I asked the Model/Assistant on duty if she'd pose in one of the photos I took. She looked so spooktacular, I just wanted to absorb the fun of it and play. That's one reason I love Halloween. It's primarily fun in our day and age (and yes I know it came from times long past that were not quite so sure the day 'fun') and a good reason to remind myself not to take this life or any too seriously. Sometimes we need to be silly and dress like a pumpkin or dance with a grape vine.
Starla aka starla.connor wore Carrie's full avi Spider Lady that included the awesome dark skin called Dark Fantasy. I was all in red and gold wearing Sami, the Group Gift for the VIP members of her store. I also had on one of the brand new texture change sets from Chop Zuey that were released last weekend. I love how all of the pieces she created, from short playful day dresses to long formal evening wear, the hats and bows, jewelry and everything could mix and match even as she honored one of the most colorful artists Romero Britto, a contemporary Modern/Pop artist that certainly inspired Ms. Belle to colorful delights in his honor! And I would be remiss if I did not comment on the hair by Truth. I've used some of October's 4Seasons darker tones more recently and I love the multiple shades of black that Truth created. They have that touch of realism.
I believe this is my final Halloween blog, but who knows. If it is or if it isn't, I hope you find a way to celebrate a spirited end of this month as we all look ahead to the wonderfully crazy holiday months ahead. Hang on to your hats. It's going to be a wild ride!!

Scaryn All Of You, Even Scaryn Me! -- Featuring Tresor Couture, October's 4Seasons and blackLiquid

Another Scaryn styling comes straight out of the mind of KarenSunshine, creator, designer and owner of Tresor Couture. I took this awesomely fun outfit over to the best Haunted House on the grid up at Carrie's Lingerie VIP, and took some photographs. Oh how fun.
I love playing dress up. Elvira, but suddenly the Country Song began playing in my head. Oh make it stop. Make it stop! LOL blackLiquid made some great blood red nails for appliers and October's 4Seasons has a Seduction Gloss out called Red Vines. All worked well together to make this spooktacular look for today's notes and blog.
Hope you're having fun with all the designers fun and frolicsome side as Halloween draws nigh - and I'm going to change my name from Scaryn to something very Holidays-y so be on the look out this weekend for something sweet as Christmas on your friends list to pop up!

Moody Days and Perfect Makeup -- Featuring October's 4Seasons, Chop Zuey, Boudoir and Tresor Couture

It's been a long time since something or someone made me cry 'online'. I forgot how it felt. We share our hearts with various people for many different reasons. We extend trust slowly, and then we hope that we're going to survive that moment, and the next. Of course we do survive, and maybe as models, with pixelated mascara and eyeliner, our makeup never runs, but I think the tears fall down somewhere in our hearts. I question myself, my ability to relate to others, and my connections here in this virtual world after days like today. And I'm so glad that not too many days like today exist in my world.
I often tell people that life is too short to get upset or stay upset. I know this more because of the health scares I've had and because I live with kidney disease. I don't expect special treatment. I would really dislike that. I'm already the china doll that everyone's afraid to touch in my world off line. To live that online too, well I just couldn't. So I'm here, in a beautiful gown, hair by one of my favorite designers, alone on the floor of a grand ballroom and realizing that sometimes, it's very sad to be alone, and other times, it's just what I need. I don't know about this moment right now. I don't often write 'moody' notes. It's just hitting me harder than it should, maybe because I haven't let the door open for long in a long time and haven't had so many 'moody' moments.
I'm grateful to the designers who support me, friends I've made in this business, places I've gotten to go and events in which I've participated. I love the lady behind the name Tresor Couture. She does a lot for the world around her and I treasure people like that. Yes, Tresor - treasure. It fits. I wouldn't be the same person if I didn't have Ms. Oooh October in my life and the chance to wear her skins exclusively is a privilege. I can't imagine Second Life without Chop Zuey and Boudoir and all of the high class designers who've been here, creating, designing, and letting me taste a little nibble from their world. It helps me disappear for a little while, into another world, and it doesn't hurt, not for a little while, anyway.

Bright, Beautiful -- Featuring Chop Zuey, Loovus Dzevavor, and ~ghee

In my excitement to share news from Chop Zuey and Ms. Belle Roussel, I sent out a note here on Thursday and then felt so badly because it was supposed to wait til today. I learn as I grow and I'm so grateful for Belle, the staff and friends who were all there as I panicked, and then tugged the notes down before they'd leaked too many secrets.
Now I can show you with a glowing admiration for this new collection, a set that includes two dress packs with 6 color options on each HUD, all of the colors working together to go with the unbelievably creative hat, belt and bow accessories, and a jewelry set that has earrings, a necklace and bracelet that all catch the light in perfection, glittering with a gleam so professional and so eye catching.
I paired my dress and jewelry with new leggings from Loovus Dzevavor, part of an outfit that was set out for this month's Instruments event and Couture boots from ~ghee.
I hope you got to see one of the two fashion shows this week that celebrated the new arrivals and you'll hurry over to these designers to see these items and so much more new for autumn/winter.

Bright White or Dark Night -- Featuring *Whimsical Imaginarium* and NOYA

Bright and white or dark as night, that's what dreams are made of... Whimsical Imaginarium offers that and so much more.

This week, the new White Swan gown came to The Couturier's Docks.
Terror Couture released to The Instruments. Both of these offer fun options for this time of year, and with Terror Couture, you can save the little horror pieces and still wear the rest of the ensemble for other events and look oh so sexy with that waspish waist.
I paired Noya's new White Pearls set with the white gown and added other brightly white bits and pieces to complete the overall effect. With the Terror Couture array of items, few accessories were needed to make this look complete.
Whether light or dark, I enjoy the opportunity to play and the exquisite quality of *Whimsical Imaginarium* by Bodza E Tucker aka Bodza Mubble. Thank you!

From Another World -- Featuring Wicca's Wardrobe and October's 4Seasons

I had so much fun putting together the photos for Wicca's Wardrobe and her items she has at The Couturier's Docks. Limited supply, so you should go go go if you haven't been there yet!
She shared her excitement about creating her own mesh this time, only the second time she's created a mesh item, and awesome little tidbit it is too! The Cybernetic Eye MAKES this look incredible, with the space motif, and otherworldly location. I'm wearing her Cayla jacket and Renraku pants, also out this month at TCD (and I've shown you her heels from this round as well on a previous set of photos).
I had to pull out her Space Boots to add to the ambiance of the overall look. I'm also using one of the newest eye shadow releases, Eclectic 2, from October's 4Seasons.I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Celebrating Its Second Birthday - Featuring !Lyrical B!zarre Templates

After the absolute thrill of working with Jamee two nights ago, another wonderful lady and friend greeted me at the beginning of this day with a misty eyes because of her thoughtfulness and ideas. Lyrical B!zarre Templates celebrates its Second birthday and as part of her celebration, she has some of her bloggers and friends photos up in a gallery that might resemble some of the art galleries you've seen in world but in this case, it's photos of her pieces, from different collections, different points of view, and she put up two of my photos, thus came the misty eyes. I had to head over to her gallery after reading her note.
(**By the way, any designer, any time, if I've blogged your item and/or put it on Flickr, you have my permission to reblog, keep the photo and import into SL, use on your website, etc. I take all my own pictures except when Ms. Oooo does, so I ask you give me credit as photog and model, and I hope they encourage consumers to visit your stores, to participate in your events, and overall enhance the Second Life experience.)
While we were both there, I asked her if she'd consider posing with me, so I could have her photo. I'd already styled and shot the first two photos seen here and was on the verge of stripping and starting again when I saw her note regarding the art gallery and 2nd Birthday. It should be open to the public by this weekend and meanwhile, there are ALWAYS new treats at LBT for you to buy, and all over the grid as well, for events, sales, and more.
I try to put her clothing together with other items, shoes, hair, and all that jazz, but change the look of the item slightly, and I do it for a reason. It's fun to repurpose items, but beyond that, her store caters to the designers out there who don't make their own mesh and want to buy full perm designs to use for their own business. I think by editing the items from her store that I blog, I show at least one more way you can play with her work, and make it unique to your tastes.

Happy Birthday to Lyrical Bizarre and many more to come.

Thank You Jamee! Featuring Lybra's COO, ♛ Miss V♛ SWEDEN 2015♛ - Lybra, Wicca's Wardrobe and October's 4Seasons at The Couturier's Docks

Last night was a rough night. On nights like that, I do my best to distract myself and make it one moment at a time. I was working on styling the new dress from Lybra at The Couturier's Docks. Mr. Rage has sold out his new dress at TCD within the first few days for 3 rounds, so I didn't want to miss out on it this time. I glommed over and grabbed mine the moment I saw the notice.
So I have on two different outfits to show you. The first is an unusual pant suit dress combination like nothing I've seen before in SL which makes it exceedingly interesting and fun. Libra's Mizuki may be purchased at The Couturier's Docks at the moment, and is shown as it was created in two photos I shot, then with only the pant suit on, as I turned a cartwheel in the ocean.
Wicca's Wardrobe also has some great new items at The Couturier's Docks, including the heels you can see in the photo of the cartwheel. There are several items from her including brand new mesh she created, something significant to her as her second ever mesh design, and something that no one else has, as a result of her creating it herself. She's very excited to offer this to her faithful customers and all who pass through The Couturier's Docks who might become new customers.
The brand new line of skins begins with Angelina. October's 4Seasons Skins and accessories has its first ever display at The Couturier's Docks. The Milk Skin Tone has never been sold previously and the Walnut Skin Tone might just be the very very best dark skin tone in all of Second Life. October's a great skin creator for a whole array of shades, but I revel in her ability to capture the colors of the darker skins in our world and how she brings them into the game.
Lori Jamee Sandalwood Loeffler aka Jamee Binder aka ♛ Miss V♛ SWEDEN 2015♛ was online and I thought well, it can't hurt to ask, though I knew she had a very busy schedule, and many things she's responsible for at Lybra, with her MVW contest, and the Models Give Back program she helps manage. I nudged her in IM and asked if she had time to do a Lybra pair pose with me. She said yes. I was so excited, I forgot for a little while that it was a rough day. That's sometimes the best medicine of all, by the way. Time, a friend, something fun.
For the pictures I'm in with Jamee, I'm wearing Lybra's Vex. It's a mini that employs the metallic craze that continues to be chic in clothing design this season. Around the chest and again at the skirt, the flexible materials flutter with life and remind me of feathers. Jamee put together her look with a Lybra dress called Daiki along with a jewelry set from Lybra called Taylor that includes a Black Pearls necklace, earrings and ring.

The Talented Kylie Sabra -- Featuring Sabra Style and Zibska - On Location At the Rose Gallery at Angel Manor

I visited Angel Manor's Rose Gallery this evening to take these photos. I did so because Kylie Sabra works as curator of the Gallery, which currently has several artists displayed, and the painter of the pictures, including the piece of photo behind me in the pictures. It shows what an incredibly artistic person she is.
The outfit she created included a gown, Rose Gallery Artist Series Cullum Writer BX, with flourishing flexible skirts, and a waist band of lovely flower blooms. Along with the other items, I found SLink nail appliers also painted with a design to go with the overall outfit. Alone or worn with this gown, they're tiny bits of beautiful art.
I did change out her waist decor for something unusual to keep with the autumn theme and to make the look unique. Instead of using her floral arrangement, I used Zibska's new Corbin headpiece, and wore that headpiece at my waist. You can find Zibska's new headpiece at The Instruments.

BOSL's International Fashion Week Winds Down -- Featuring -AZUL- from BOSL's International Fashion Week, blackLiquid from The Couturier's Docks and NEW from October's 4Seasons

The Best of Second Life International Fashion Week winds down this weekend but all those fantastic new designs you saw at the various shows have now been put out and on display for you to buy what you loved!
-A Z U L- created this new Ella in Garnet as part of BOSL's Fashion Week, a sexy design that left a lot of skin exposed yet covered the right bits beautifully. A brand new just in time for Halloween group gift is out at October's 4Seasons, Angelina Evil.
A most unique head piece called Banzai from blackLiquid added just a touch of twisted to go with the Evil makeup and the composition made me smile, truly enjoying the chance to style an outfit that is at one moment both elegant and spooky. It's like blending two opposites and it works!

Beautiful Pumpkin Patch -- Featuring Snowpaws from Designer Showcase, MOoh from The Promenade, Wicca's Wardrobe from BOSL International Fashion Week, and {{BSD Design Studio}}

Have you noticed how evident the lingerie models wear on runways this fall appear on all sorts of layers? Gone are the days of prim and proper fashion, buttoning up, zipping, hiding, lifting, 18 hours, and so much more. Now, fashion blends the 'street' clothes with the lingerie items in a mix and match like I've not seen before in my lifetime.
Speaking of Carrie's Lingerie, every month is a great time to visit, but extra special effort for decor goes into some months and Halloween/October might be the most flamboyant fun on one sim for this holiday across all of SL. Countless autumnal and spooky props with poses decorate the store's main level and hidden pumpkins hide an inside hunt treat for those who find all of them. If you invest in a VIP membership, discounts, special releases, and more will tease your fancy and there's a second in house hunt up in the VIP area. This time of year is beyond fun at Carrie's Lingerie.

I put this outfit together this evening with the deliberate desire to add designers from a range of skills, aesthetics and energy to create an entirely new piece to share with you. This came about as I took a hat fromthe Miranda Outfit from Wicca's Wardrobe, something newly released for BOSL International Fashion Week and paired with a style - James - out of the KMADD/Moda box I continue to ruffle through and enjoy - blog after blog - and Mr. Maddox DuPont recently noted that he's added new hair to his collection. It's an excellent time to drop by if you haven't visited in a while.
Snowpaws has a beautiful halter top and wide-legged pant set - Luca - on sale at this month's Designer Showcase. I used the pants for this styling. I appreciated how they hugged the hip with a sleek sensuality then billowed more material the farther down the leg you look.

If your eye wanders from head to toe, the brilliant red of the bra from Carrie's Lingerie peeks out and then another item echoes the bright hues in the heels from BSD Design studio. The Passion of Life name for the heels fits perfectly as a description of both bra and heels. From the store MOoh, a new crop topped short sleeve sweater finishes off the new items shared on this blog. You can find this V-Neck item at The Promenade Gachas and available in several colors. In my world off line, I like layers, so that crazy days that begin at 52 degrees and end at 82 degrees, I can peel off or pull on those layers, just like this item from MOoh.

Mental Health America, Make a Difference -- Featuring (Bryne) for Halloween Hellraiser for MHA, !Lyrical B!zarre Templates from The Instruments, DE Boutique from Designer Showcase, and DESIR's Grace from BOSL International Fashion Week

With a little help from Lyrical B!zarre Templates - Weaping - at The Instruments and great Smoothies heels from DE Boutique at Designer Showcase, I added a long white skirt called Grace from DESIR's new releases coming just in time for BOSL International Fashion Week. Then I took new makeup - a series called Energy, lips called Siren - and the new release Angelina in Milk Skin Tone from October's 4Seasons - coming to The Couturier's Docks this weekend - to tease your senses and encourage you to find the weekend filled with great shopping.
The corset comes from (Bryne) and was an item from a designer I'd not met previously or blogged previously. I'm always excited when I get to debut something from somewhere completely new to me. I'm also always excited when I know that the whole reason the designer created the release evolved because the designer wanted to contribute to a fundraiser for charity. Next weekend, Paradox Messmer aka Doxy, hosts a special event - Halloween Hellraiser - to raise money for Mental Health of America.
I looked up the primary website and pulled their 'Donate Now' address, so anyone who sees this note can donate directly if they cannot attend the special event.

What Is An Imaginarium? -- Featuring Whimsical Imaginarium, Lindy's from Designer Showcase, [Z O O M], and Moondance Boutique

I haven't done photos like this for a long time but as a part of something I offered to do for the new Whimsical Imaginarium I decided to go ahead and snap a photo of each dress, and each color option. They're similar but each have their own stylistic flair and fun about them.

Colorful Circles use a snug sweetheart neckline and a blossoming tulip shape upturned for the skirt. Each of the skirts have the same pattern containing the Daffodil, the Lavendar and the Rose hues in the bodice of each dress, but each skirt has it's own character.
Colorful Edges begins with the slimming shape of a tube dress. A skirt with lots of movement flairs around the lower calf in a mermaid-like shape. Additionally, there are bows you can wear at the middle of the back and at the back of the knee to offer even more shape and color options.
Colorful Waves takes a similar tube shape dress and adds skirting on both sides of the hips that reminds me of the shape of bustles by adding volume to the hips and back side. Additionally, you'll find the circle of roses around the hips adds a delicate refined beauty option.
Since all of these gowns are created by the same designer and use the same color palette, you could mix and match the bows and skirts to get many different unique shapes and make the gowns all your own.

I found some nail appliers I didn't know were hidden among jewels I'd shown you another time. Thank you Moondance Boutique! The nails were called something so close to the WI gowns - Colored Lines. How curious, yes?!
Lindy continues to create colorful heels to go with this very colorful fall. In one of the series of photos, the one with the Colorful Waves gowns on it, you can see Karli heels peeking under the skirt in the brilliant pink that so wonderfully suited the three different gown series.

I pulled hair from a box as well, like a magician, not realizing the rabbit was still in there? I don't know. It seems to happen a little more often (and joyfully so... everyone likes pulling on a pair of jeans that has a 5 dollar bill in the pocket!!) because I'm doing more events and the participants add all sorts of items to their entries. ::No:Shade:: created this braided ponytail and even has an option to wear if you like earnestly inflated chest sizes!

I rarely use shades or purse/clutches. I think it's a residual thing from my world off line and items I use and items I don't even own. I don't own a single pair of shades. However, when I pulled out [Z O O M]'s glasses, they really felt 'just right' for my look, with all three gowns, so I went for it. And the clutch in my hand, it also felt right and goes to show, an old girl can learn new tricks from time to time!

All Around the Cobbler's Bench - Featuring :jazzitude: and Ruxy from The Promenade, *Glitter* at Designer Showcase, {NanTra} at The Instruments, and Brand NEW Makeup from October's 4Seasons

Beautiful people exude an energy that's beautiful, even when it's online and you may never get to touch them in person. I've found myself so blessed to be surrounded by beautiful people, those who put others first at times, those who encourage with a word or a smile, and all those who work at this business from every angle. What a treat it is, too.
My outfit today comes together by including a little bit of everything, from new releases at The Promenade, to The Instruments and Designer Showcase. Special deals, special colors, special releases and they're all for you.
From the Promenade, :jazzitude: provided the Hazel Carafe Skirt. Also at the Promenade, Ruxy shared the Morgana Pearls and Jacket (Shrug). *Glitter* has the heels available at Designer Showcase. A new release of both lips and shadow for the eyes will catch your eye at October's 4Seasons. And for the special poses, {NanTra} has a series called The Birds, an homage to the movie by the same name, available at the current round at The Instruments.

Cozy... Sooo Warm -- Featuring Lybra, October's 4Seasons, and DE Boutique at Designer Showcase

Upon my return to working with friends and business, I discovered that Ms. Ooo-la-licious aka October Bettencourt aka Keisha Xicotencatl had created a whole array of new lips. I love my lips. I loved them so much, I took a photo of me in all four shades of the first collection: Destiny. Mmm, don't you want to lick them?
I also found this cozy looking dress from Lybra called Red Plaid. Just those words alone conjure up many a warm autumn/winter along the eastern USA seaboard and how one day it can be 85 and then overnight, it drops to 34 and cold weather arrives. I've lived everywhere from Massachusetts to Florida, and found those weird weather shifts every single place I went. When I saw this dress, all those wonderful memories flooded my senses and I fell in love with it.
DE Boutique is one of the designers that's part of the [Liv-Glam] team of designers who work together to create all sorts of looks for the glamorous woman. The Bootlili Peeptoe Boots come from DE Boutique by way of Designer Showcase. There are a trio of SLink applicable heels this month by this designer as part of the showcase, all of them beautiful.
