I really enjoy what I do each day as a blogger in Second Life. I have asked a few people along the way if they accept bloggers, and submitted blogger applications. I also have had the joy of friends mentioning me to other friends and ending up working with new friends as a result.

This past week felt a little like an avalanche, but the overwhelming flush of items to review is a huge gift to receive. I have wanted to make sure I included a little bit of something from each participant who shared their clever designs.

A few times already, I've had items I blogged that were from my regular sponsors. I did a dress for [[Masoom]], a dress from A.F.I Designs and shoes from {{BSD Design Studio}}. I cherish those designers who've invested in me in the long haul. I believe they realize I do not take them for granted.

I have a hard time asking for help. I don't ask for free items. I couldn't imagine ever doing so. I think I'd freak out a bit if someone tried to make me. During this Boho Fair, I've posted a whole plethora of blogs, several a day sometimes. I know it's a lot of data to process because it's a lot for you and me.

Really special little moments happen in these special event settings for bloggers, at least they have for me and I consider them memories of people at their finest, leading me on my continued sense of positive overall energy in Second Life and my hopefulness that it overcomes darkness fully.

I told one of the designers who'd provided a whole array of items for blogging how grateful I was at their generosity. I try to piece together as many things from the fair itself, and then go to other sponsors items and finally my own personal inventory to get a styling done well.

Because this designer put all sorts of items in their box, I had unusual trinkets of all sorts to add to each blog styling for this fair. When I thanked the owner/designer, the reaction I received only added a greater blessing, "Anything you need. Anything at all. Just let me know."

I've had fun fitting all the pieces together for this event. I think I have one or two more stylings I'll share this week, and I'll have had exposure to more designers than I have ever had. What a treat. It's work. It's FUN work. And I love it.

DEW Adds a Little Hope to the Season

This brilliantly colored mini dress slides softly against your skin and billows with beautiful rosettes around the neckline.

I added a touch of gold glitter and found me a pair of equally brilliant red shoes, and I knew I was ready to go 'walkin in a winter wonderland...'

MM5 Rock!, DEW, Blow-up, Pure Poison, Olive at Winter Fair 2012

A year passes away and a new one begins. People off line make resolutions to change their world, their health,  and so many things they want 'better' for 2013. Have you made your list yet? One thing that should change slightly each year is your overall 'look' in Second Life. A face lift in SL certainly costs much less than one off line. Make your list, then attend events like the Winter Fair 2012 and choose new things that make you feel like a new and better you for 2013.

This beautiful holiday memory scene begins with the line from that famous story, "The stockings were hung by the chimney with care..." and these stockings, in a pack of three, came from Blow-up. 

I have on reindeer antlers from MM5 Rock!, so the prancing and pawing of each little hoof might be morse code, telling me a special reindeer secret.

A mesh knit reindeer sweater from DEW follows the theme. I'm trying to get in good with the whole Santa team this year.

Pure Poison provided Snowman earrings, and I copied one and added it as a belly ring as well since the sweater was cropped. You can do this with any of your jewelry that's copy able.

And a warm white scarf from Yulicie finishes off the winter wonderful touch. I had a flash of dawning understanding last night when I was looking at Yulicie, the name. I always try to figure out those cool license tags and Yulicie seemed similar. I see the words, "You'll See." now when I look at this clothing designer. Clever!
