All the Wonders Of the Season -- Argrace, ~ghee and Asteria Creations

I did a bit of hunting to find a few new hair designers. I'm looking for off the beaten path ideas. I have seen a few of you share things from places I hadn't visited and that's always fun. In the 10th year anniversary celebration of Second Life, they put out a bit of trivia and one of the questions was, "What's the highest/best selling item in the game?" "Ladies Hair" and it has been every single year since they began tallying such details. Argrace created this hair with the Santa Cap attached, which rocks because I get so frustrated trying to make hair and hats work. They did the work for me!

I saw Katherine Asteria's recent new releases note card come across my desk and I knew I had to have the Cardigan in the picture. I don't know why my tastes lean towards the asymmetric, but they do and this top was just beautiful.

There are an assortment of colors suited to this time of year. She's released a pair of pants and boots also but I like to mix and match so I pulled on a pair of ~ghee's new tights and Sky's winter boots to create this look.

Let's go for a walk. It's a pretty day and the ocean breeze is blowing. Whisps of wind tickle the tangled weeds by seaside and the song of the sirens' call cries out over all. Alone for a moment, lost in time, she looks around, and on all sides, she sees nothing but beauty. Is this paradise?

Asteria Creations at Winter Fair

There is something refined about a well tailored pants suit. Perhaps it comes from growing up with a family where everyone worked, my mother as a teacher, and she abhorred dresses, so I grew used to seeing them as the attire of a working woman. Women's rights. Being strong on your own without expecting a man to provide everything. Strange what thoughts run through your mind in a virtual world like Second Life, what path memories take and how we link this world with our own.

This outfit, the Angel, from Asteria Creations really took me back in time. Wide legs allowed for busy women to move comfortably and often gave an illusion to the long skirt to trick the eye. These pants are not quite that wide, but still the mind wandered. The system top with a frilly belted waist added a delicate feminine side to the overall effect of the look. You can find this at Winter Fair and after a hectic start, it's been extended 5 days, so you have extra shopping opportunity til December 20.
