Lybra Is Something Stunning, Something Fun, Always Something Classy -- Lybra and /Wasabi Pills/

Some designers have a flourish that's as lovely and unique as someone's signature might be or an artist's point of view. One of many reasons I love working with Lybra, Mr. Jason and Ms. Natzuka, along with the stunning skin and management of Ms. Jamee, could be summed up with the single word - Class.
It's resonant in each design created by them and for Lybra, it's in each event they organize, it's in each place you find Lybra fashions, like the Couturier's Docks. Beyond being excellent clothes that make the customer look stunning, they're excellent people who reach out and infuse their energy into our Second Life and we're better for it. I loved this gown, Fauna. It's not brand new to their collection but it spoke to me one day while I was wandering about the store, soaking up the vibe, learning the layout (it's been under construction and there's more new items daily!!), and I decided it would be my next Lybra item to style for them and for each of you.
I paired with a new hairstyle from /Wasabi Pills/ a long haired mesh that lay perfectly against the skin. You may not know, but Lybra offers items for men and women, dressy fancy clothing, chic minis that are a bit more casual than the long gowns, hair, jewelry, poses and so much more. If you haven't been or haven't been back in a while, begin your January getting to know Lybra. You'll enjoy every minute.

The Dark Angel On My Shoulder -- Baboom Couture and October's 4Seasons New Releases

I begin the day with a captivating gown created by Kyra at Baboom Couture. This Dark Angel gown replete with the most unique skirt and beautiful wings struck me on a personal level and I found myself feeling ethereal, as if for a moment or two, I had an angel on my shoulder as I worked with the photos.

Each year the sophistication of the program on which we play or live or however you define your Second Life grows more realistic, offers more options and in essence becomes more... more beautiful, more dynamic, offering more options to the creative minds behind content creation. This reflects both in the gown I wear and the surroundings. Just look at the rabbits, the trees laden with snow and the icy waterfall. Gorgeous.
October's 4Seasons has a brand new set of Holiday Designs nails for you, coming very soon. They're unique in the fact that instead of having a colorful base and silver tips, the silver is a crescent of shiny and the rest of the nail is painted color with silver etchings. You'll love adding them to holiday themed attire.

Take the Time To Play - [Sympatica] from The Instruments, Analog Dog, Sensuale, and HOLLYHOOD from 24 Squared

I was in the mood for styling more than anything else yesterday. It's just so much fun to be allowed to play barbie and mix and match items that really end up making me feel like a beautiful lady. When you're someone who deals with chronic illness, being beautiful or feeling beautiful isn't always easy. Second Life lets me have that chance, so now I have two different looks to share, with items from two different events.
From The Instruments, where I shot this set of photos and the next set I'll post, renews items every month and has a wide variety of designers who participate. This Wool Jacket from [Sympatica] is one of the items. It reminded me of the Eastern items I got to style at the Japan Fair, a beautiful fierce yet soft look.
And at 24 Squared, you'll find this hair Fun Pack from Analog Dog. The Vernice Heels I'm wearing come from HOLLYHOOD. Sensuale Slim Slacks that have a HUD to change from a flat color to something with a sheen to a silver or gold inlay (the ones I'm wearing have the gold inlay activated on the HUD). Besides great fashion, 24 Squared offers other fun ways to spend your day so before the weekend ends, you might want to run over and see all the ways you can play!

Pretty and Prim In Pink - Featuring Danielle's Exclusive from Rock Your Rack, *~Damesfly*~ and HOLLYHOOD at 24 Squared and Opal at Designer Showcase

The darling dress comes from Rock Your Rack, Danielle's Exclusive Charlotte in pink. Though it looks like layered items, it's textured to trick the eye and fits easily without having to figure out which size on which layer so you don't have things popping out where you don't want, and you have pieces that look like they flair out and it's a beautiful optical illusion. Classy design and cleverly drawn. It's beautiful. I'm not usually an all pink girl but it fit perfectly with the fundraising for Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Rock Your Rack continues through September 15.

Designers contributed work like this dress to raise funds, but you can also donate directly if you follow this link: https://www.stayclassy.org/fundraise?fcid=283425

From 24 squared, *~Damesfly*~ has a gorgeous full bodied flowing mass of hair, Shyanne. I think this is more hair than I've owned or worn in years. My hair used to be about this long off line and I recall how much work it was to keep it groomed. Isn't it wonderful how the online world allows us to skip all those little life knots and have the beauty without the work? Additionally, you will find HOLLYHOOD with two different styles of SLink compatible heels. The Kitten Heels are wooden wedges, and the other style glitters like fine diamonds with a variety of colors. Oh la la!
Opal continues to have items at Designer Showcase month after month, and each month there's something fresh and lovely, a new treasure to be had, and at the discount room, the treasure won't break your bank. Sea Star earrings and necklace are offered in two different colors, and add a playful bright bit of color to a casual outfit. With the pink woven into the set, I thought it helped accentuate the overall styling wonderfully well.

Sending Prayers -- Featuring Chop Zuey's Venezuelan Poodle Moth

One of my favorite people in all the virtual worlds that I know, and I admit to only knowing one well and a few others very remotely, has surgery to look forward to in the near future, and while he's waiting, all the worries and what ifs run through his mind like they do for most any one. Juan Delgado affectionately called my Obi Juan Delgado, taught me many times and in that time, many things. My prayers are lifted to him.
I have to be honest. When I went up to Chop Zuey's boutique, I really didn't know what to buy first. I love being one of her models, and I wanted to have a few clothing items to go with my exceptional jewelry collection. I found this unbelievable outfit and it's name, "Venezuelan Poodle Moth" and the notation by the dress, "Google it..." So I did.
I put it on a few times, just because it's sooo unique and fun, but haven't had a real cause to wear it out yet. Maybe one of these days I'll have a party or something fun to attend, and I'll find this adorable little moth again, and the vibrant amazing way Belle Roussel put it together, and smile as I do. Today, I put it together because I was thinking of Mr. Frolic and his surgery and his country and his life and this little moth just seemed to be apt. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, and you should -- Google it!

So Much To Show You -- !Lyrical B!zarre Templates!, Couturier's Docks, L&H, and Chop Zuey

If only I had more hands or hours in the day, I could keep up with some of the creative ladies and gents who make these garments for us day after day. I could never keep up with some of them and one that comes to mind is Loredana Alexandra and all she does at Lyrical B!zarre Templates.
The thing is, each time she makes something new, I want to stop what I'm doing and style it and photograph it, before I do anything else that day. http://issuu.com/rboniefacio/docs/modelsissue16 She's recently had a spread done for modeLS magazine and several recent designs of hers were showcased there.
I'm soooo squishy hug smushy wet stuff proud of her too. It's a great thing when this thing we do that's definitely a business becomes entwined with unbreakable friendship. How lucky I am!!
If you touch the bangle, you have an assortment of color tones, all suited to the fall colors that are trending. I've also got a new head wrap to share as one of the ladies who work on Our VOICE shared it with me and I used the other one (see my new Cover photo).
And though some pieces I share with you from Chop Zuey may not be new releases, they're new to me, and my blog so they're a part of this look also, the aptly named Mooncrystals.

It's Something Special -- Featuring NEW Jewelry from Chop Zuey and New Gifts Too!

There's something special about being a part of something bigger than yourself and that's always true in the Chop Zuey groups. I get to work with some of the finest, most revered models in Second Life and for one of the premiere jewelers on the grid. It's a dream job, a dream life, and one I feel like I should shout loudly, "Thank you!!!" every day or so because of the privilege.
Belle Roussel announced a new design release just in time for the weekend called Chromatica, a set of jewelry that includes earrings, necklace and a set of bracelets you can mix and match, all on a HUD that lets you choose metal and then colors to add. I mixed silver with red and blue and felt quite patriotic.
With the new jewelry, I also had a new outfit from Belle's Sky Boutique. If you haven't visited the Sky Boutique to see how Chop Zuey makes clothing and accessories into wearable flickery beauty, you should go! The Spangles Bangles and Fireworks outfit shows one example of this clothing that's also jewelry.
Also, the Yankee Doodle handbad should tempt you to try Chop Zuey accessories!

Thank you Belle and Chop Zuey for allowing me to be a part of your world and share your art:

Bold and a Great Price Too!! Featuring FINESMITH from 55L Thursday and HOLLYHOOD from Fashion For Life

Many weeks come and go where I see special sale items come across my desk so to speak and I want to blog them before the sale occurs, but I'm a little too late or a little too lost. So...
This week I decided to grab a couple of the designers who are doing a little something for all of us (like me) on a budget, and making 55L Thursday items, or 60L weekend items, and thank them!
This dress and just the necklace (the earrings are also sold at FINESMITH, but not part of the 55L deal) are on sale in the color orange tomorrow. The texture of the dress has a sheen to it and the tie at the waist gleams. It's more than just a pretty dress, and it is 55L tomorrow - June 12, 2014!
And those beautiful shoes from HOLLYHOOD are new and found at Fashion For Life, still running thru June 20. If you'd like to donate directly, follow the link below.

Angels and Demons and Sandra Backlund - Featuring [AD], From Fashion for Life: HOLLYHOOD, and !Lyrical B!zarre Templates

Angels and Demons creates some of the most unique things I've yet worn to date like this Twink Mesh Dress. I paused to really think about the person who might wear such a gown. The first thing I did was reference Avant Garde in the search bar Google provides, ticking off Images, so I could see a whole wide array of looks, to see if something like this was out there, in our world, and where.
Sandra Backlund graduated in 2004 at Beckmans Design University in Stockholm and created her eponymous brand in the same year. In 2007 she won the Hyères International Festival and, in the following year, she was chosen by Franca Sozzani (editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia), as a protégé for a fashion fund. In 2009, she won the NextGen sponsorship, awarded by the British Fashion Council. She's the designer of the 'real life gown' I'm sharing here.
Someone who wears such a gown could be at a charity fund raiser, putting on the ritz so to speak in NYC. She could attend a black tie affair, a new artists debut in a little gallery in Soho, thought the dress could spoil the show, making the woman more interesting than the art. That would be a social no-no, or the making of a high fashion model, or probably both.
HOLLYHOOD entered Fashion For Life with a wide array of SLink compatible heels and this brilliant hot pink pair shows one design and color. With the black palate, I thought one bright color to pop would be fun. With all the sculpting of pieces in the gown, I knew jewelry could get lost in the mix, but the hairpiece from Lyrical B!zarre Templates worked well. I also have on earrings and a bracelet from Chop Zuey.

I'm grateful to each designer who made my style possible:

In Fields Of Flowers - Featuring from Designer Showcase Artizana, Also New From Dot-Be Fashion and FINESMITH

Even in the midst of a great number of events and thus designers and options, I feel responsible to the designers who've been there, supporting me, letting me review copies of their things long before I had a clue what I was really doing. This dress comes from Boniefacio at Dot-be fashion, called Benigna. Boniefacio creates for both men and women and works to have a balance of ideas in his store at any given time so that just about anyone could walk in and find something they loved.
I've been around Second Life for eons, or at least since 2005, so I have known some people a really long while. The fashion bug didn't bite me until 2011 when I applied to be a store model. Many of the friends I made and kept up with prior to that time were so supportive as I first got myself in gear to model and blog. They remain my grass roots.
The people I've met and cared for between 2011 and today have almost all come from the fashion sector. Internet years feel like 'dog years' where the year may pass and look like 365 days; and a year can be a lifetime. A handful of designers gave me a chance. Boniefacio and Dot-Be Fashion was one of them.
I accessorized the new dress with new jewelry from F I N E S M I T H, a set called Late Bloomer. Artizana created the hat, found currently at June's Designer Showcase and had many of the same colors used in the rest of the outfit. I really enjoy the privilege of working with new people; always looking back to those who have been there all along with a smile and gratitude.

I'm so thankful for each designer represented here, each making this blog possible:

Get It While the Gettin's Good -- Featuring !Prism from PENUMBRA and Asteria Creations and HOLLYHOOD from FASHIONART Faire

Let's go for a walk. It's a pretty day and the ocean breeze is blowing. Whisps of wind tickle the tangled weeds by seaside and the song of the sirens' call cries out over all. Alone for a moment, lost in time, she looks around, and on all sides, she sees nothing but beauty. Is this paradise?
I visited http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Braveheart%20Isle/196/31/24 Poppy's Paradise to take these photos and truly, it was breathtaking in every direction and this is just one spot in the midst of the whole. I'm sure there's much much more to see.
I have a new top on from Prism Designs SL, a sweater called Marilyn in Herringbone Bamboo that is part of the items shown in PENUMBRA's Fashion week this week. The Asteria Creations Hans Mesh Pants and Tangerine Vida Heels from HOLLYHOOD both come from FASHIONART Faire. Both events end at the end of May so if you like what you see, get it while the gettin's good.

I would not be able to blog without the sponsors, the terrific designers who make each style possible:

Undeniably Unique -- Featuring !Lyrical B!zarre from The Couturier's Docks, HOLLYHOOD from FASHIONART Faire, and Silken Moon

This design became my favorite ever outfit I put together using pieces from different designers. Originally, I had the Ego Mesh Dress from Lyrical B!zarre Templates, and I know many times when I blog, designers want me to show you what they designed, but there are some who tolerate or even encourage the chance to do other things with the designs.
I took the headpiece and hood from the !Lyrica set, and a chest piece. I paired with a new Corset Belt Lace from Malicia Python - Silken Moon. The poof skirt that adored the ankles of the original gown repurposed to a new midlength skirt, attached to the upper legs so the flutter is sexy and moves naturally with each step.
To accessorize, I wanted to put a simple pair of shoes, and lately I have fallen in LOVE with SLink feet and shoes and hands. It took me a while to get on board, but now that I am, I'm loving every minute of making the SLink fit into my puzzles. And with a Black Ice Set I bought from Chop Zuey, I created an Avant Garde look that I could use on Chop Zuey model stands and share all of this with you, on my blog and on a model stand at Chop Zuey. What a treat!

I'm grateful to each designer represented on this blog. Without them, I would not have the privilege of doing this:

It Started With a Pair Of Glasses from [AD] -- Featuring [AD] and Swallow from Couturier's Docks, HOLLYHOOD from FASHIONART Faire, and [Liv-Glam]

A very unique pair of glasses from [AD] motivated me to this style. I had to find pieces that would work with the glasses and not cover them up. They actually have the standard bar that wraps around the ear but then they have those interesting wings that made me think of a librarian meet goth chic style. In our world, anything goes, yes? Liv-Glam creates textures continually that make the mesh 'anything' look perfect for the cut, the style, and the use for such a dress or pant suit or whatever comes next. This knee length sleeveless summer dress captivates with large print with primary pattern pieces on a color HUD so you have several outfits in one.
I look at designers' blogs when I style for them the first few times, and because I got to work alongside the creators at Liv-Glam early on in my experience as a blogger model, I got to see how they viewed the finished product. Unique pieces of jewelry, glasses, and bags are often in their photos. I tried to go with their overall aesthetic. Swallow Skin and Accessory Second Life has new jewelry at The Couturier's Docks this month, and I wanted to use several of the pieces with this. If you hurry over to the docks, you'll see the many other little Safari items included in the box, and hopefully find yourself inspired to find your inner rawr! I took one of the earrings and pinned it to the glasses to pull the items together, but wearing together or separately, they're deliciously different bits of art.
Normally, after I've posted one item from an event, I move on to other items. There could be 5 or 8 dresses and gowns, but only 1 shoe designer presented, or only one jewelry designer participating, and the same can happen with pose creators. Rather than go to items I've already used, I'll focus on those 5 or 8 dresses at different times during the event's duration, and I'll pull one pair of shoes from the shoe designer for one gown and later, another pair of shoes from them also. HOLLYHOOD has shoes and clothing at FASHIONART Faire, and all of it is fantastic. The shoes seen here are Twisted SLink applier heels. I loved the tan stitching across the black leather.
Different times I'm motivated by different things, which makes sense I imagine, as artists would say the same, painting, writing, drawing, pixels, whatever their medium. I photographed the glasses, dress and jewelry three different times with different combinations of accessories until I found the pictures that suited me and felt like they were right for the outfit. I've thrown items in from all over the grid, so you need to put on your best shopping shoes and have fun!

I'm thankful to each designer who contributed to make this style possible:

A Hunk-a-licious Featuring JesyDream and HOLLYHOOD from FASHIONART Faire, >Asset<, Dot-Be Fashion, and Kyxe Skins & Shapes

Monday, a good friend was trying to help keep my mind off of things, and I ended up with these poses as a result. The one frame with me standing alone uses one of my poses from Demise of Flight while the pair pose comes from KaTink.
The hunk of fella who came to help was part of the perk up Caryn campaign. I must say, he'd perk up a lot of us wouldn't he?? Loved the placard type shirt from JesyDream at the FASHIONART Faire and the newest Cecilia pants from Dot-be fashion.
HOLLYHOOD has another pair of heels at FASHIONART, the Mya Heels in Carnation, and they gave a small touch of soft appeal to the harder urban overall style.
Kyxe new Romance lips continue to make my mouth look lickably sweet and >Asset< sent a very different style for hair, one I'm sure would suit either gender. Hopefully, you're inspired to participate!

Almost Like An Oil Painting -- Featuring Kastle Rock Couture and HOLLYHOOD from FASHIONART Faire by Glamourist; Also KaTink Poses

I have a little bit of lots of things to show you. The first series of photos includes items from FASHIONART Faire by Glamourist, open and ready for you to shop!
Kastle Rock Couture created the "Oils On Velvet Gown", a beautiful dress that suited the concept of the fair wonderfully in my opinion.
The other new item to show you also comes from the fair, another pair of shoes that HOLLYHOOD has there. I'm just learning about SLink feet and heels designed for them, and loving it.

Thank you so much for allowing me to work with your designs:
