Take the Time To Play - [Sympatica] from The Instruments, Analog Dog, Sensuale, and HOLLYHOOD from 24 Squared

I was in the mood for styling more than anything else yesterday. It's just so much fun to be allowed to play barbie and mix and match items that really end up making me feel like a beautiful lady. When you're someone who deals with chronic illness, being beautiful or feeling beautiful isn't always easy. Second Life lets me have that chance, so now I have two different looks to share, with items from two different events.

From The Instruments, where I shot this set of photos and the next set I'll post, renews items every month and has a wide variety of designers who participate. This Wool Jacket from [Sympatica] is one of the items. It reminded me of the Eastern items I got to style at the Japan Fair, a beautiful fierce yet soft look.

And at 24 Squared, you'll find this hair Fun Pack from Analog Dog. The Vernice Heels I'm wearing come from HOLLYHOOD. Sensuale Slim Slacks that have a HUD to change from a flat color to something with a sheen to a silver or gold inlay (the ones I'm wearing have the gold inlay activated on the HUD). A Wild and Crazy Version Of Me - Featuring h.m.a.e.m., Yasum, Baubles! by Phe, Bliensen+MaiTai, KMADD & Morphine

Every time I sit down to play Barbie dress up, the thing most models call styling, I end up with very different stylings because of very different moods I'm in while I'm playing.

I call it playing Barbie because when I would visit girls in my neighborhood years ago, girls who had little suitcases filled with Barbie dream clothes, I would sit and dress and undress and dress again their little beauties. I do that in my Second Life, and I have such fun doing so!

I'm glad I have the range of designers who've been generous in allowing me to represent their personal artistry. I put together pieces from a whole array of people, events and themes in the process.

I really enjoyed the edgy waspish very mini dress from h.m.a.e.m. It's got attitude breathed into it. I paired it with crazy jewelry from Baubles! by Phe, brand new mesh eyes from KMADD/Moda as well as unique boots from Yasum. Two items from two separate Carrie's Lingerie sets accessorized and brand new eye makeup from Morphine (previously named [Mirror's Enigma]) completed my daring look.

I'm not nearly as tough as this metallic vixen, but for a few moments, when I play dress up and enjoy the creative glimmer of so many, I can be tough and fierce... though my sweetheart of many years still says that when I growl, it sounds more like a poor little wet kitten complaining, and not fierce at all.

Growl a little at the world then Live! Laugh! and always Love!

As you can see, there's actually a third piece of the outfit, a mesh bit that's attached with chain and draped to the right hip. It's the first time I've seen a wallet like this in mesh, so that was a great addition. Also, she's gotten so clever with her mesh that she's begun to add jewelry. If you want to try her Gacha machine in the store, you could get the cuff seen in my set of photos.

I pulled a pair of AIDORU flats, the nail paint from .::Shellac, dark colors designed to wear with SLink hands, and then wore a brand new hair style Lyon from [Underscore]. It all seemed like it was meant to go together.
