A New Designer Joins the Design Team at Zanze -- Featuring Zanze; Also Featuring no. 7

Every now and then I feel one of the photos I took so intensely even though it's not specifically a blogger photo. I often weed it out, because you really can't see the elements of the items I've been asked to blog, but this time I included one.
I thought this dress, Corazon from zanze was pretty, something I'd pull out, even now in the south, and wear to have a girls lunch or to meet my secret lover for midday drinks and a tryst. Naughty, eh? It must be my Friday mood. The facial decorations fit the lighthearted fun afternoon eye-dea... get it?
But I think a proper tryst would mean I had to remove no. 7's newest release Changing season, couture lashes, though they're really more like facial gems. I wore Gaeline's HUD operated mesh lashes as well. The item from no. 7 is the filigree silver and red gems that fit to the left side of the face.
I'm really happy that Ms. Fizz Lennie Devina aka Fuzz Lennie has joined the design team at Zanze and recognize her fresh eyes as an asset to this already awesome business. I can't wait to see more from her and Zzoiee aka Zoie Zee. I just loved the black photo, the lighting, the energy it created, so it's not the best frame to see the dress, but it's just too much fun not to share it! Happy Friday.

Pretty and Prim In Pink - Featuring Danielle's Exclusive from Rock Your Rack, *~Damesfly*~ and HOLLYHOOD at 24 Squared and Opal at Designer Showcase

The darling dress comes from Rock Your Rack, Danielle's Exclusive Charlotte in pink. Though it looks like layered items, it's textured to trick the eye and fits easily without having to figure out which size on which layer so you don't have things popping out where you don't want, and you have pieces that look like they flair out and it's a beautiful optical illusion. Classy design and cleverly drawn. It's beautiful. I'm not usually an all pink girl but it fit perfectly with the fundraising for Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Rock Your Rack continues through September 15.

Designers contributed work like this dress to raise funds, but you can also donate directly if you follow this link: https://www.stayclassy.org/fundraise?fcid=283425

From 24 squared, *~Damesfly*~ has a gorgeous full bodied flowing mass of hair, Shyanne. I think this is more hair than I've owned or worn in years. My hair used to be about this long off line and I recall how much work it was to keep it groomed. Isn't it wonderful how the online world allows us to skip all those little life knots and have the beauty without the work? Additionally, you will find HOLLYHOOD with two different styles of SLink compatible heels. The Kitten Heels are wooden wedges, and the other style glitters like fine diamonds with a variety of colors. Oh la la!
Opal continues to have items at Designer Showcase month after month, and each month there's something fresh and lovely, a new treasure to be had, and at the discount room, the treasure won't break your bank. Sea Star earrings and necklace are offered in two different colors, and add a playful bright bit of color to a casual outfit. With the pink woven into the set, I thought it helped accentuate the overall styling wonderfully well.

Fantasy Beckons -- EMO-tions Unique Pieces Add to Your Fantasy

There's a new program coming to the U.S. - at least my neck of the woods, and of course because I wanted to comment on it as it relates to my photos tonight, I can't find a single link to show you what's coming. I imagine it's like most good vs. evil type programs. They've been doing them as far back as Westerns, where you always knew the good guy had the white hat.
Characters written into books, or created for screen play often have an off balance blend of both good and evil. Words like the anti-hero were created for people like Walter White, a man who did many horrible things, illegal things, all in the name of helping his family (or was he?). And we find characters like Riddick, who comes into the story as the 'bad guy' but it takes little time for us the viewers to realize that he's an anti villain and he spends more of his time in the movie doing good deeds than keeping up his dark and dangerous persona.
The fantasy created by just a few key pieces in any style can end up pulling a dollop here from one extreme on the continuum, and then pair it with the opposite extreme. I saw dark accessories for a female from the future or perhaps a supernatural creature. I also saw how that black played against the simple white lace catsuit I created. Am I more like the anti-hero, or the anti-villain. I'm sure it reflects dependent on my location and mood. Even then I might be as able to self-define as it would be for one of you to make that determination.
EMO-tions has items at the Gacha Fantasy Fair including hair that has a headband, and jewelry pieces as well. I took the Aboni headband, a Gacha Rare prize, and paired it with another EMO-tions hair style to create a different look. The unusual wings and leather black armor also come from EMO-tions, called Bellona, and suited to the Fantasy of that event. As I said, the white lace suit comes from Caryn's creations. Sometimes when I'm not sure what piece fits best into a puzzle, I just create a piece myself.

I had such a joyful evening styling and thank each of the following for making it work:

Almost Naked -- Featuring {WearMe}, Air Ophelia, BeLoD, DANIELLE, INNUENDO, Lua's Urban Style, and Violator

I was inspired by Wicca Merlin's Flickr tonight. I actually had my computer turned so my sweetheart could see her photos from where he was sitting and for a few minutes he stopped watching football so he could do so.

I edited this one in a paint program, to see what I could do with it, to edit it to a point where it was beyond a photo and bordering on art. I think it takes time and loads of practice. I just enjoy it!

This was the original photo, so you can see where and how I edited. I see so many photos on Flickr, not just Wicca's, that look like someone used oil paints or very real art supplies to make their photos.

I pushed the edge of sensuality to the very limit. I didn't want to show everything, yet I wanted to only show the jewelry and accessories. I think it would be a little more difficult to do so at a show, but in photos, it's fun to try.

With a great bag, while standing still, I cover the bits that need the most coverage. From head to toe, I played with items, modifying them, making some glow, coloring others, till I got to this final stage. I hope you enjoy!

Live! Laugh! Love!

Emotions: Some New Styles

Emotions has been in all my photos from 18 September to present, but sometimes when you see it all the time, it's hard to tell when something is new. These are some of the new styles that came out this weekend:

I really enjoyed this one called Cayenne. It has a seductive edge to it without being complicated. oooh la la

I've been playing with graphic artistry to get different looks with different techniques. This great hair from Emotions, called Gloria, comes with two equal ponytails, a great jeweled headpiece holding the ponytails in place and simply exudes drama.

Barefoot and Bombproof, Simpro Lamp from EOTW + Danielle and Emotions New Releases

This article might seem mild compared to the last two, but so much of the time I write with a serious bent on making sure I share the clothing or items with a professional and gentle word. Once in a while though, everyone lets their hair down, and in this case, one of Emotions new releases from this weekend, Gloria, makes its first appearance, and it's definitely letting my hair downnnn as long ponytails drape to my hips!

The other item that is not from the fair comes from Danielle. I went to her fashion show about two weeks ago and fell in love with EVERYTHING she sells. I received a beautiful small parcel from her this week, and they were these stunning Christmas earrings. What a treat!

From the End of the World, this lamp by Simpro has been built to sustain high winds, brilliant lights as stars fall from the sky and oh so many other special things. It could be a street lamp or an indoor lamp depending on your sense of style or needs.

The dress from Barefoot and Bombproof will help you remember the festivities of the end of 2012, regardless if it's the last year we'll ever be here or not. It's brilliant red hue makes it perfect for holiday parties.

A Night of Beauty as Danielle Celebrates the Third Anniversary

The program put together for this fashion show really had a flair for the dramatic and creative, and did an amazing job of making the clothing and its designer really shine.

The theme mirrored the red carpet time prior to an awards show. With the golden statues at both ends of the runway, the allusion to the Oscars boldly set the evening's tone.

Glitz and Hollywood glam could be used to describe the designer herself, Dani Plassitz, and every creation that appeared as a result of her talent echoed that beautifully.

Ms. Violet...

Mr. Bonie (Liam one of UEMA's many models present stands to his right and in the background)...

and Ms. Anika... all worked together as Co-Owners of the Ultimate Exposure Modeling Agency (UEMA) were present and each had a significant part in making sure this show did well.

Several of UEMA's female models were seen through the evening like Ms. Delinda seen in a floral pattern and blue...

Ms. Dreamlove shown in brilliant red, an egyptian-like look, and a classic formal...

Ms. Sessie had a unique gown with the right half ultra formal black layers and the left semi bare with gold to accent the dramatic difference, and her other gown reminded me of a flower garden...

Ms. Jessilyn showed off an array of beautiful colors, burgundy, deep purple and a flowing pink that almost looked magical...

Ms. Sienna showed a mauve gown and later came out with an elegant rich red...

Ms. SD walked through the evening in red with white lace, a pale grey, and then finished the evening off as she walked into the 'awards' show wearing the showstopping wedding gown.

The theme was clever. Male models were used everywhere on the set to add relevance to the notion that we in the audience really were privy to the unveiling of the brilliant designs presented by Danielle and UEMA. And for those who could not wait for the show to end to capture one or more of the delightful displays, all around the perimeter of the set were vendors. You could grab a loved creation the moment you saw it. Overall, this whole production from beginning to end was 'Awesomesauce!' as I like to say.
