New Tech, New Rules - October's 4Seasons Joined 55L Thursdays: An INCREDIBLE Deal - Bombshie from Designer Showcase and New WTB

This morning I read an article on the camera drones that are under 500 USD, so inexpensive that the average joe could afford one and it seems many many average college age joes and joettes have bought one and operate them everywhere from the beaches to the center of their home team football field for Opening Day games. In the last few years, new technology appears on the market so quickly that the regulators related to the new technology have to run to keep up with what's created, try to make rules associated to that tech make sense, and yet keep the freedom of commerce and fun in the original product so people are happy. If the young people or old people or in between people own and operate these drones on their own private property, the risk for danger factor remains relatively personal, and if a crash occurs, a failure of the tech in the drone, it's usually to the detriment of the private operator. However, when the same tech is deployed over a stadium filled to the max with 106,000 people waiting for kick off (and this is happening over seas with loads of football matches as well), the risk for danger factor exponentially escalates and the rules to limit or control the tech have not been clearly defined so there's a massive loop hole right now and I can only imagine that this will continue to be the case in the years to come with tech coming at us as fast as light and faster.
Yesterday, a friend of mine came to me with a couple of screen shots she'd taken while traversing Second Life, searching for information on a newly released bit of tech for the mesh products we're all trying to sort out for ourselves. In her travels, she found a place that specialized in littles aka children/girls who have a very specific role in Second Life according to the TOS. They're allowed, but only in certain areas, never in areas related to sexuality and the acts considered sexual in nature. Yet she found a whole new slew of items created to add breast and hip attachments to the child avatars. It's another example of how tech is ahead of the rules and ahead of the people who are out there trying to analyze content creation in such a way that they encourage creativity and do not stifle the interest creators have in the virtual world, but also keep the rules set in place by the TOS. As far as I remember, the TOS went through a major overhaul in 2007/2008 because of several lawsuits, and part of that litigation included regulation of the child avatar, where it was permitted, how it was permitted to be used and to interact in the Second Life community. Having accessories that attach to child avatars to in essence give little girls breasts and hips steps very close to a line that seems contradictory at first glance. When I saw her notes and images, I could see how she perceived that accentuating the sexuality of a child/girl might be a contradiction of elements related to that change in rules of the TOS and the use of child avatars. But at the moment, professionally analyzing just the content creator, the tech, they're in the same type of loop hole. They're not telling someone to break the rules. They're not showing specific imagery of the girls with said enhanced female bits. They're not making this person or that buy their items.
Both the drone creator and the mesh enhancements HUD touch the edges of what's already been litigated. The result makes for complicated discussion, investigation of intention, exploration of fact, analysis of previous litigation, and a fair and just application of new rules for new tech. Meanwhile, consumers like me who payed for a ticket for family members to be able to attend Georgia Bulldogs next game must be aware that there are risks associated to said drones, and if that family member sees one flying nearby, their attention must be averted from the game long enough to assess their own personal safety in lieu of someone else policing it with decision to remove it. Just because I think or said family member believes that it shouldn't be there, at the moment, they are flying over stadiums. They are already there. It would be foolish to ignore them. It could be frustrating to some, and in fact deadly to a rare few. There's a case of a person who operated a drone in a city park who killed himself inadvertently using one of these camera drones legally and within the parameters of that park, and still he faced dire consequences. I don't know what will happen with the items from Second Life that collect all of our mesh pieces and make application easier, and if people will use those new bits of tech to push the child avatar rules. I know when I end up somewhere where I feel uncomfortable, I watch carefully for risks and dangers, look to my own inner voice for decisions, and act accordingly until the regulators have time to do what they do.
I put together this outfit today as I was thinking about this topic. As I did, I was so excited to make sure you knew that October's 4Seasons joined the 55L Thursday group and will begin having 55L items regularly. This new 55L special edition skin will be out this weekend, beginning November 13 running through the weekend to November 16. At 55L - what a deal!! I'm also sharing pieces from Bombshie, Dominga Gold Belted Skirt from Designer Showcase and WTB's Renee Scot Burntrose Top.

Looking For Drama -- Featuring /Wasabi Pills/, [dirty little secret], Entice from Designer Showcase and Ro' e Buni' from The Instruments

I nearly squealed out loud to the empty house today when I saw that season 10 of Grey's Anatomy was up on Netflix. There are only a few shows I've binge watched via that connection and I love it when I do. I can be so impatient waiting 25-28 weeks for each episode to air in it's normal time slot, break for holidays, take time off for the March Madness, or whatever. With this Netflix thing, I can gobble up good stuff at my pace, and I love Grey's. I was an avid fan of E.R. but only a few of the first years, and lost interest after a while. I watched House and again, lost interest in it as well. I have returned to watching it intermittently, again thanks to Netflix, but it doesn't have that same emotional tug to me, like Grey's.
After 1 1/2 episodes, however, I had to come back here, and read news, look at emails, check notices, and look for friends to connect with because this emulation of life that comes virtually into my world makes more sense than every emotional tug I ever felt watching a television simulation of life, by like a million jillion. Sometimes people talk about drama, a bad thing, something to avoid, and yet drama, that day to day stuff that makes us laugh or cry or feel some other emotion drives our world. Drama on television inspires us. Drama in our day to day life either feeds us or is a byproduct of human connection. Sometimes things irritate me, like idiots, sometimes things disappoint me, like liars, and sometimes things make me cry, like deception, but the only way to avoid those irritations would be to avoid people. I like the positive energy from connections that make me laugh, make me proud, make me feel something good, and I wouldn't trade any of that away for some mundane quiet world.
I love experiencing the wild romps of a television drama, and well written drama just makes me smile more. But here, in this shared universe, you're so much more interesting, dramatic, fun, crazy, and yes, those negative things too. It's why I do what I do. I have this little process, coming in to work on photos, styling, and other things, but every single time I come in, I'm also checking in with friends, offering hugs, making someone growl with frustration (yes, I'm sure I irritate others at times!). I put together this outfit, from head to toe chock full of new items, from /Wasabi Pills/ latest release Dominique, to Entice's items at Designer Showcase that include the awesome Clueless leggings and Don't Heels, to Roe' e Buni items from The Instruments. I even tapped into a resource I rarely use and found a [dirty little secret] bra in my box of fun. I embrace the work, but it's all just a really good opportunity to touch worlds, designers, other models, old friends, and so many others. I'm going to finish this episode of Grey's now and will see you all again really soon. I couldn't exist without you.

With Silent Confidence I Prowl -- Featuring Artizana from Designer Showcase and October's 4Seasons

I always know when a design comes from Artizana. The designer has a specific point of view and remains consistent, from piece to piece, since I began to blog her items. I've seen a few in various special events around the grid and often find items at Designer Showcase from there as well.
This is another of those instances. The choices Artizana added to this cycle offer a range that even includes an outfit for the guys, which is awesome because I know that menswear might be much more difficult to find.
This outfit Koutiala (Savannah) has a tribal vibe with earth tones that I thought melded well with the new release of the skin tone Mocha for the Angelina face that's just about to come out at October's 4Seasons. This sneak peeks shows how beautiful this darker skin tone really is, and I chose the natural skin, no makeup added, because I knew I'd use the face wrap, and because I believe this Angelina face continues to be the absolute best yet 'face' line at 4Seasons.
With no makeup, the eyes have a passion that speaks confidence silently and if you choose to wear the skin options that do have makeup, that passion remains, with a flair. (I thought the set of poses called 'Confidence' from Image Essentials Props and Poses were apropos for this pair of photos!)

Are You Ready For Holidays? -- Featuring Sabra Style, -LOUX- and E C R U from Designer Showcase; Featuring Zibska and PosESioN from The Instruments

Some years, I truly struggle with the emotion of the holidays and by November 3, I'm buried somewhere down deep inside myself and bracing for the storm of the supposed "HAPPY" holidays that sometimes seem so far away from reality. It's something significant and not something only I struggle with, so I hope as you read this, if you know others who do, you might be a breath of gentle air, a warm hug, a cup of hot cider, a blessing of hope, and then just wait, and be there, because those of us who've learned how to hibernate through emotional seasons also wake. They'll want you there when they do wake and they will remember your touch and heart while they couldn't respond to you.
So I went over to a Winter Sim and found some precious displays and this little snowman standing in his own huge snowfall caught my eye. I know it's a bit early to think of Merry Christmas, but it's not too early to think of love, a love to touch the whole world, regardless of faith, and peace, enough to spread like a fire, and bring a calmness like the snow to every single of the 8 billion souls you'll find out there this year.
I'm wearing a new Charisma gown in red from Kylie Sabra at Sabra Style. You'll also find E C R U Ritz Heels and this bold yet elegant luscious new  lipstick from -LOUX- both at Designer Showcase
, excellent deals, and every new month that passes brings multiple reasons to return to enjoy this sale venue. Also, new Zibska Kelda jewely and the poses I used from PosESioN come from The Instruments event, for the November rotation.
Lots of beauty, and a breathless dream of hope and love and joy for each of you as we do brace for winter together.

Dancing In A New Month -- Featuring Lybra from Designer Showcase, Featuring Loordes of London from The Instruments

After dancing the first day of November into existence with a few friends and patrons of Lybra, hanging out with the designers, Lybra Rage and Natzuka, I had to write about the new gown from their amazing array of art they create. This Olympia gown may be bought at Designer Showcase and though it's almost pure white, with the feather boa for the shoulders, and sleeves that are long, you'll be able to wear this any season, for holiday celebrations, or just to hang out and dance a new month into existence.
The shoes peeking out from under the gown come from Loordes of London, and can be bought this month at The Instruments. You'll find these heels along with several other styles, plus other items as well, so a visit will be worth your time!
I have to make a quick comment about the Angelina series of skins from October's 4Seasons. These skins compete graphically with the best skins on the grid. Period. They offer every option you might seek, for attachments, appliers, and mesh. There are different brow shapes, and stunning makeup that October creates each time she makes a new skin tone. She's taking the 'Seasons' theme, that will help you choose the right skin AND the right outfits and hair and other elements of your avi, to a new level and making sure you know when you're wearing what season, and educating in a positive way in the process. The last thing I have to say, the skins that are not the traditional pale, cream and tan, the ones that exemplify a native heritage like Indian cultures from India and Indian cultures from the Americas, a beautiful array of dark skins that could be from the vastness that is Africa or the indigenous people of Australia, those skin tones are better than any other designer makes them in my opinion, and not because I get paid to say so or because she's a sisterfriend. It's simply truth. If you haven't tried an October's 4Seasons skin, you should. They hold up under any lighting, at low or ultra level graphics, and on any runway. They're also awesome for the everyday Second Life girl who's looking for the best on the market. Angelina Milk and Walnut are sold at The Couturier's Docks, just a little longer, and limited supply. If you visit the main store, you'll find a new group gift just set out last night, and new releases of Angelina, makeup, and more. I do adore October, or as I affectionately nicknamed her Ms. Oooo. I also admire her business acumen and her incredible talented artistry. You will too.

Morning Has Broken -- Featuring Zanze and Lindy from Designer Showcase

Before I went over to dance and play this morning, I went fishing in my new Designer Showcase bag and found a heavenly gown by Zanze and new heels from Lindy. The dress is called Eva and has a really feminine touch to it, with a whisper of winter yet to come in a pattern on grey that vaguely brings to mind snowflakes.
And yes, I know some of my friends got snow on Halloween! I declare! (That's something my gramma used to say when she didn't know what else to exclaim, and I suppose it fits sometimes, eh?) The Katie Kinsey shoes are in an old style from the 1940s.
They were danced in often in celebration of the end of a war to end all wars and the reunion of families around the globe. When you wear your Lindy Katie Kinseys, think about how wonderful that must have been. I'm an idealist. I'm me.

1 Hundred and Loordes of London both have new items out for Designer Showcase November. The new really sexy pale lilac lingerie I'm wearing comes from 1 Hundred.

I've got one of the new Lily Skin Tone (Angelina) skins on and because the Lily tone can be Spring or Autumn, it was perfect to go with this delicate color pairing and the casual side updo from Analog Dog.

Beautiful Pumpkin Patch -- Featuring Snowpaws from Designer Showcase, MOoh from The Promenade, Wicca's Wardrobe from BOSL International Fashion Week, and {{BSD Design Studio}}

Have you noticed how evident the lingerie models wear on runways this fall appear on all sorts of layers? Gone are the days of prim and proper fashion, buttoning up, zipping, hiding, lifting, 18 hours, and so much more. Now, fashion blends the 'street' clothes with the lingerie items in a mix and match like I've not seen before in my lifetime.
Speaking of Carrie's Lingerie, every month is a great time to visit, but extra special effort for decor goes into some months and Halloween/October might be the most flamboyant fun on one sim for this holiday across all of SL. Countless autumnal and spooky props with poses decorate the store's main level and hidden pumpkins hide an inside hunt treat for those who find all of them. If you invest in a VIP membership, discounts, special releases, and more will tease your fancy and there's a second in house hunt up in the VIP area. This time of year is beyond fun at Carrie's Lingerie.

I put this outfit together this evening with the deliberate desire to add designers from a range of skills, aesthetics and energy to create an entirely new piece to share with you. This came about as I took a hat fromthe Miranda Outfit from Wicca's Wardrobe, something newly released for BOSL International Fashion Week and paired with a style - James - out of the KMADD/Moda box I continue to ruffle through and enjoy - blog after blog - and Mr. Maddox DuPont recently noted that he's added new hair to his collection. It's an excellent time to drop by if you haven't visited in a while.
Snowpaws has a beautiful halter top and wide-legged pant set - Luca - on sale at this month's Designer Showcase. I used the pants for this styling. I appreciated how they hugged the hip with a sleek sensuality then billowed more material the farther down the leg you look.

If your eye wanders from head to toe, the brilliant red of the bra from Carrie's Lingerie peeks out and then another item echoes the bright hues in the heels from BSD Design studio. The Passion of Life name for the heels fits perfectly as a description of both bra and heels. From the store MOoh, a new crop topped short sleeve sweater finishes off the new items shared on this blog. You can find this V-Neck item at The Promenade Gachas and available in several colors. In my world off line, I like layers, so that crazy days that begin at 52 degrees and end at 82 degrees, I can peel off or pull on those layers, just like this item from MOoh.

Mental Health America, Make a Difference -- Featuring (Bryne) for Halloween Hellraiser for MHA, !Lyrical B!zarre Templates from The Instruments, DE Boutique from Designer Showcase, and DESIR's Grace from BOSL International Fashion Week

With a little help from Lyrical B!zarre Templates - Weaping - at The Instruments and great Smoothies heels from DE Boutique at Designer Showcase, I added a long white skirt called Grace from DESIR's new releases coming just in time for BOSL International Fashion Week. Then I took new makeup - a series called Energy, lips called Siren - and the new release Angelina in Milk Skin Tone from October's 4Seasons - coming to The Couturier's Docks this weekend - to tease your senses and encourage you to find the weekend filled with great shopping.
The corset comes from (Bryne) and was an item from a designer I'd not met previously or blogged previously. I'm always excited when I get to debut something from somewhere completely new to me. I'm also always excited when I know that the whole reason the designer created the release evolved because the designer wanted to contribute to a fundraiser for charity. Next weekend, Paradox Messmer aka Doxy, hosts a special event - Halloween Hellraiser - to raise money for Mental Health of America.
I looked up the primary website and pulled their 'Donate Now' address, so anyone who sees this note can donate directly if they cannot attend the special event.

What Is An Imaginarium? -- Featuring Whimsical Imaginarium, Lindy's from Designer Showcase, [Z O O M], and Moondance Boutique

I haven't done photos like this for a long time but as a part of something I offered to do for the new Whimsical Imaginarium I decided to go ahead and snap a photo of each dress, and each color option. They're similar but each have their own stylistic flair and fun about them.

Colorful Circles use a snug sweetheart neckline and a blossoming tulip shape upturned for the skirt. Each of the skirts have the same pattern containing the Daffodil, the Lavendar and the Rose hues in the bodice of each dress, but each skirt has it's own character.
Colorful Edges begins with the slimming shape of a tube dress. A skirt with lots of movement flairs around the lower calf in a mermaid-like shape. Additionally, there are bows you can wear at the middle of the back and at the back of the knee to offer even more shape and color options.
Colorful Waves takes a similar tube shape dress and adds skirting on both sides of the hips that reminds me of the shape of bustles by adding volume to the hips and back side. Additionally, you'll find the circle of roses around the hips adds a delicate refined beauty option.
Since all of these gowns are created by the same designer and use the same color palette, you could mix and match the bows and skirts to get many different unique shapes and make the gowns all your own.

I found some nail appliers I didn't know were hidden among jewels I'd shown you another time. Thank you Moondance Boutique! The nails were called something so close to the WI gowns - Colored Lines. How curious, yes?!
Lindy continues to create colorful heels to go with this very colorful fall. In one of the series of photos, the one with the Colorful Waves gowns on it, you can see Karli heels peeking under the skirt in the brilliant pink that so wonderfully suited the three different gown series.

I pulled hair from a box as well, like a magician, not realizing the rabbit was still in there? I don't know. It seems to happen a little more often (and joyfully so... everyone likes pulling on a pair of jeans that has a 5 dollar bill in the pocket!!) because I'm doing more events and the participants add all sorts of items to their entries. ::No:Shade:: created this braided ponytail and even has an option to wear if you like earnestly inflated chest sizes!

I rarely use shades or purse/clutches. I think it's a residual thing from my world off line and items I use and items I don't even own. I don't own a single pair of shades. However, when I pulled out [Z O O M]'s glasses, they really felt 'just right' for my look, with all three gowns, so I went for it. And the clutch in my hand, it also felt right and goes to show, an old girl can learn new tricks from time to time!

Beautiful people exude an energy that's beautiful, even when it's online and you may never get to touch them in person. What a treat it is, too.
My outfit today comes together by including a little bit of everything, from new releases at The Promenade, to The Instruments and Designer Showcase. Special deals, special colors, special releases and they're all for you.

Birthday Spectacular At Chop Zuey -- Featuring Chop Zuey; no. 7, Loordes of London and -{ZOZ}- from The Instruments; Liv-Glam, *{Kiko Life}* from Designer Showcase

I attended Chop Zuey's birthday bash, celebrating it's 5th birthday with style. As there are often gifts on the weekends, this weekend there were also, but this time, some of the gifts were over the top collections and loads of ways Belle chose to spoil all of us. A new set called Don't Call Me Betty was released as a gift with a limited stone set, however, the set I'm wearing has the option to change three gem stones and the metals in the jewelry to make it so adaptable. I warned Belle before I arrived that I was wearing something Spooktacular and a bit wild, did she still want me.
~laughs~ And so I did go and loved the chance to hang out with some of Chop Zuey's long time members/supporters and new ones joining for the first time. I had on a great outfit that looks perfect for the Halloween month yet isn't specific to Halloween, a top and shorts that Liv-Glam put together. It's name made me chuckle - Idiot School.
I had on tights that are lacy and deep blue that I made to go with the boots I wore Loordes of London French Quarter boots from the Instruments. Unique makeup came from *{Kiko Life}* at Designer Showcase and those wild wonderful lashes are no. 7 items from the Instruments. And I used the -{ZOZ}- nail appliers that I mentioned yesterday, Ghost Girl.

Got Milk? - More Milk - Featuring On A Lark from The Promenade, {{BSD Design Studio}} and Moondance Boutique at Designer Showcase

Working on and playing with the Got Milk campaign for the newest skin tone to be added to October's 4Seasons Skins & Accessories. Angelina, the newest face, will be released at the Couturier's Docks next rotation.
Every skin tone, every face, each better than the one before it, fits every human need and perhaps a few who come from the regions of magic and mysticism.
I put On A Lark Corset and Gloves from The Promenade over one of Carrie's Lingerie Group Gift releases for a layered sensual, almost naughty look. Wouldn't you like to know what's going on in my mind? ^^ BSD Design studio released new heels that are SLink compatible. I'm excited to share Global Citizen with you.

And for a slim brilliant bit of jewelry to accentuate, I used Moondance Boutique's recent addition to Designer Showcase, a jewelry set called Rose To Cancer. The long mesh tresses from Truth Hair called Zoella really works miraculously to keep with the sexy sleek look, yet covers bits perfectly.

Super SCARYN - Featuring Sabra Style, Dark Horse Style, AsHmOoT from the Promenade, !Lyrical B!zarre Templates from Four Seasons Market and Dulce Secrets from Designer Showcase

I just want to be a super hero. Of course, every good one has a great costume. A month of costumes, but today, I pulled on a collection of items from different designers and ended up with Super Caryn. Sabra Style's Old London Coat made a perfect 'super hero girl cape' for today. AsHmOoT created an entire outfit for The Promenade, and from the set, I pulled on their Coll boots and leggings. I'm pretty sure tights/leggings are a must for super heroes and boots as well. !Lyrical B!zarre Templates provided the skin hugging mini dress under the coat, with a bra and skirt and shear layer between the two.
I know heroines do not need to enhance their chest area to fight crime more intensely but I also don't know of a single one who doesn't do so anyway! At Designer Showcase this month, Dulce Secrets put together a box of mesh eyes. Not a soul in our universe has pink eyes that I know of, but to have pink eyes as part of the costume; that makes sense. Lastly, I have more nails to show from Dark Horse Style. Be ware, though. These nails have been treated with just the right amount of venom to render any criminal paralyzed long enough that I might capture them and bring them home to justice!
My name will change for the duration of the month of October to SCARYN.
Just a nudge to help you find me in your list...

Inspiring Artists - Featuring Snowpaws at Designer Showcase Also Featuring AIDORU and NailedIt

Snowpaws! Snowpaws! Snowpaws!
I found her at several locations this week. For my first outfit to show you, I pulled this dress Sumam from the creative work contributed to the Designer Showcase September round. The package is actually a set that includes the dress and jewelry. You can see the earrings easily in both photos.
To add a little touch of color, I chose to use some jewelry and nails that were bold and reminiscent of famous artists from yesteryear. Both AIDORU and Nailed It created items as part of a themed event earlier this year. I had used some of the items in the past, but not the heels, bangles or nails, til now. These all bring to mind the artist P.Mondrian. I wasn't sure how they would fit into my blog, along the way, but with a little patience, each puzzle piece has its own niche.

Old Hollywood Elegance -- Featuring !Lybra at Designer Showcase and ::NO:SHADE:: from 24 Squared, Also Brand NEW October's 4Seasons

My other style I want to share with you begins with a gown from !Lybra called Giovanna that can be found at Designer Showcase. The elegance of this gown made me think of all those red carpet affairs that now seem to happen year round, where everyone pauses and asks, "Who are you wearing tonight?" I'm wearing Lybra Rage. Thank you so much! Jewelry from !Elemental rounds out this look with a set called Simone. It's a silver metal and onyx stone combination, and when you find it at Designer Showcase, you know you're going to buy it for the best price!
Additionally, I have an new October's 4Seasons Release, the Laila face for the Blossom Skin Tone. With the bold makeup, the lighter skin tone and black gown work together to continue with the theme of high society partying.
And ::NO:SHADE::, another designer I didn't know until this event, showcases Sofia at 24 Squared. A HUD for color change options gives you a great selection to suit whatever you makes you feel beautiful.

Pretty and Prim In Pink - Featuring Danielle's Exclusive from Rock Your Rack, *~Damesfly*~ and HOLLYHOOD at 24 Squared and Opal at Designer Showcase

The darling dress comes from Rock Your Rack, Danielle's Exclusive Charlotte in pink. Though it looks like layered items, it's textured to trick the eye and fits easily without having to figure out which size on which layer so you don't have things popping out where you don't want, and you have pieces that look like they flair out and it's a beautiful optical illusion. Classy design and cleverly drawn. It's beautiful. I'm not usually an all pink girl but it fit perfectly with the fundraising for Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Rock Your Rack continues through September 15.

Designers contributed work like this dress to raise funds, but you can also donate directly if you follow this link: https://www.stayclassy.org/fundraise?fcid=283425

From 24 squared, *~Damesfly*~ has a gorgeous full bodied flowing mass of hair, Shyanne. I think this is more hair than I've owned or worn in years. My hair used to be about this long off line and I recall how much work it was to keep it groomed. Isn't it wonderful how the online world allows us to skip all those little life knots and have the beauty without the work? Additionally, you will find HOLLYHOOD with two different styles of SLink compatible heels. The Kitten Heels are wooden wedges, and the other style glitters like fine diamonds with a variety of colors. Oh la la!
Opal continues to have items at Designer Showcase month after month, and each month there's something fresh and lovely, a new treasure to be had, and at the discount room, the treasure won't break your bank. Sea Star earrings and necklace are offered in two different colors, and add a playful bright bit of color to a casual outfit. With the pink woven into the set, I thought it helped accentuate the overall styling wonderfully well.

Stay Classy and Visit -- Featuring Purple Moon at Rock Your Rack, .:JUMO:. at 24 Squared, [LG] Boutique at Designer Showcase, Truth and !Lyrical B!zarre Templates

*One of my longer blogs, but so much to share, so many places to go...

One of those Mondays comes along now and then where you really do wake up and look outside and wish it were raining so you could easily slip back under the covers and sleep a little longer, listening to the sound of soulful droplets on the roof. It wasn't raining today but I still took my Monday really slowly, not actually 'getting up' til it was mid-afternoon. I don't have a very reliable schedule, which is why blogging really works well for me!! and never know when I'll sleep or wake. I'm at peace with the world of modeling that I've chosen and love the chance to wake up at 3 p.m. or 4 a.m. and always have something new to share.
I styled this pants suit from PurpleMoon Creations and had to message the designer. It had been ages since I'd gotten anything from her store, as I work with what's shared, and events, and each event has a different compilation of designers. I remembered why she was one of the top designers on the grid when I put her pant suit on... it's impeccable. You can find the Adele suit in black at the Rock Your Rack charity event. I styled this then went to find a location for photos and decided to go to Purple Moon's main store. While I was working, there was a gifty machine sharing items, one of which you see in my hands. What a treat. The Raspberry Clutch was one of those unexpected extras!
.:JUMO:. has an unfathomable amount of content out at different events right now, and for 24 Squared, the necklace seen in this set of photos shows one of those many pieces. It's called Believer Necklace, something that rings warmly of hope and good things. It's a little chunkier than many of the pieces I choose, but I thought it complimented the suit so well.

I love [Liv-Glam]. I'm still bamboozled to figure out how so much could possibly be created every week, week after week, for now over two years, I think. You can find pieces shared across the grid at different events, sometimes places that feature limited numbers, sometimes at charity events, sometimes at the discount shopping rooms. I found these color-change HUD heels in the goodies from Designer Showcase and fell in love. The heel has two options, that make it so versatile. On one setting, it's basically a great close toed heel for fall. The other setting adds a platform of shiny diamonds under the main shoe. It's a clever idea, offering both color change and accessory on/off. There's so much more for the money, and I love great deals!

My Substance hat from Lyrical B!zarre Templates adds a bit of flair and pulled the purple color from the heels and the soft colors around my eyes so well. The exploding flower into tiny little snippets of flower petals creates a sense of motion and adds depth to the overall look.

And last but never least, a new release from Truth, Freya, has a long french braid down the back. The hair is pulled gently away from the face. I think it softens the hard edges of an all black suit. I have been a fan of Truth since its first days as a business in SL. (Yes, I'm THAT old) It's a brand that morphs with time and all that comes with evolution of the program itself.

If you would like to donate directly to Rock Your Rack, you can visit any of the donation kiosks on the property or go to this website - https://www.stayclassy.org/fundraise?fcid=283425
