Living In a Fantasy World -- Featuring Zanze at Designer Showcase -- Sneak Peek at NEW October's 4 Seasons Face -- and M&M

When I saw this slinky little gown/dress from Zanze, metallic silvers and aquatic blues, I immediately thought about my fantasy costume folder. I've paid 'good money' over the years for different pieces of fantasy that came in and out of style in Second Life.

I even have a very pink panther skin, emphasis on the word pink. These wings twinkle with particles. I know, so passe, no one does twinkles anymore, but I love my wings and I will probably have them in my inventory til kingdom come. Today was a good day to dust them off and play.

Zanze's Sage Mini {PANSY} comes from September Designer Showcase and is the last item I have in my box to share with you from September's run. All those delectable temptations there, just a little longer and then it's (EGADS!) already October. I'm sure that time flies when we're having fun but as I get older, it seems to fly even faster. Does that mean I'm having more fun?

Nya's Shop had items out for both The Instruments and .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week so I used a combination of items from both to create my new look this morning. The dress, "Fooling Fall" in yellow comes from The Instruments while the boots and tights are from .PENUMBRA.

A set of jewelry from .:JUMO:. also from .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week makes any look a little more glittery. A word I think I just made up, but it fits. It is more glittery!

>Asset< has a new style released also, called Journey. There's something very "ME" about a loose ponytail, and autumn. I pull my hair up all summer so that nothing touches the back of my neck (to hot, ick!) but by the first days of autumn, it's always ready to tumble loosely into just such a ponytail as this. It's that time of year ago, finally cooling off a bit, and the days are getting shorter.

To Sparkling -- Featuring Sabra Style, Chop Zuey and Two Designers From .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week: Luna Body Art and Vanity House of Designs

From two designers who both have items out for .PENUMBRA. Fashion week, new nail appliers from Luna Body Art and a new purse and heels from Vanity House of Designs, I began to puzzle together this casual compilation. There are likely thousands of different styles for nail application out there now. Instead of tons of duplication, which I see happens often in the 'real' world, each new set I try has a different appeal like this new set from Luna.

I have shared a few items from Sabra Style with you previously and today, I have a casual top and jeans set. I've worked with a number of gowns and dresses. It was great to have something less dressy. I particularly liked the ribbed weave infused into the texture created for the top. I lived in Florida for a little more than 10 years and something sleeveless yet knit at this time of year would be just perfect for a walk down the beach.

Chop Zuey... have you been there recently? I don't know how she does it, but Belle always has new fresh items for us, seasonal items, special holiday weekend items, gems and jewelry of every possible color and setting I could imagine in a hundred years, and still, when I visit, I see something new. My passion for fresh and innovative ideas is equaled and excels at Chop Zuey. Every now and then, I get little items from her gift area, and if you've never visited Chop Zuey, you don't know how generous she can be about gifts which is a travesty because EVERYONE should know. I couldn't figure out how to use the Beaujolais barrettes in the styles of hair I had but I realized if I added them to my top, I could create a leaf-like brooch. Many of her pieces, I wear exactly as they were created, but on the occasion that I repurpose the items, I'm grateful for the broad use, and the generosity of a designer who makes my life sparkle... Literally!

When You Really Like the People Behind the Designs - Featuring Lyrical B!zarre Templaces at Fashion Collective and Loovus Dzevavor at .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week

My other look took on a completely different style. The frock has been cut by the completely, unbelievably, overwhelmingly... (okay yes, a few adjectives but I love this girl) amazing Lyrical B!zarre Templates designer in such a way that it's both avant garde and casual. I think that's a great feat in design.

The whole outfit, called Under, consists of a bra-like layer, a high waist skirt that then has cutouts just above mid thigh and down to the knee, a unique cape that hooks around the back instead of over the shoulders and then to complete the look, she added legwarmers. Such a sexy set! Recently, I had the privilege of interviewing both Victoria Vikeejeah James and Blac Quartz as a part of an article that introduced the owner and designer of Loovus Dzevavor and 2013's Face of Loovus Dzevavor and now fellow designer for the brand as women of distinction.

As I got to know them, I admired both for their accomplishments, professionalism and warm nature. The heels (Cypress) and purse (called Destination) go well together. These and many other items comprise the Autumn/Winter collection from this fashion house.

Never Give Up -- Featuring -{ZOZ}- from .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week and WAYNE

I have two new looks to share this morn... ermm afternoon. Where did time go? The first comes from a little work done for October's 4 Seasons campaign. The mini dress with a sleek line and deep cleavage teases wickedly yet retains that balance of decency, making it something I could wear to a party as well as in my personal space with a loved one. WAYNE is the dress designer.

Amazing Marigold, and the newest 'face' Laila debuts beautifully during .PENUMBRA. Penumbra Fashion & Events and will be a part of one of the fashion shows coming this weekend. I can't wait to see how the different models use the skins and all the glorious skin tones.

More heels to flaunt with ferocity come from -{ZOZ}- and as amazing as the heels are, I want a pair of each. Alas, my bank would be utterly broke and I would be naked but have a lot of terrific shoes. Would that work? These heels are called Jazlyn. I think one of the last cycles of America's Next Top Model I ever watched was won by a girl named Jazlyn. She was one of those wonder stories, had tried out before, and finally made the cut and ended up winning. Never give up, I think. Never.

A New Bright Day - Featuring CASTIEL from The Instruments and New From Chop Zuey

It's another bright and early good morning. My day begins with the little cardinal on my front porch singing to his mate, or mates? I don't know enough about the birds and the bees, obviously! But the sun's just breaking over the horizon and everything here is pink and grey. It's that time of day where hope is greatest and anticipation highest as I look forward to what the day has in store. Amidst all the big events in progress, I also want to make sure to share the monthly events like The Instruments.

Each month, a new theme reaches the designers who participate in this event, and each month they create items that suit the theme and then put them out for you at a discount from what you might pay otherwise. The structured gown I have on today is from CASTIEL. I haven't had a chance to play barbie very often with this designer so I enjoyed the chance to style it.

Additionally, I have new Moon Crystals from Chop Zuey. There are a number of options for this set that includes three lengths of earrings, from the small set you see in the photo, a mid-length set, and a long set for those who like the really big earring look. The necklace also comes in three choices, so depending on how low you want the crystals to go and rest against your chest, you can pick the one that suits you best!

As the Rock Your Rack event comes to a close, I have one more piece to show. There are new things on the horizon, always will be, but it's hard to say goodbye to some of the events that mean so much. I admire the ladies and gentlemen that put this program together and I think they've done a tremendous job reaching high goals and will celebrate success at the closing party. The mini-dress over regular clothes seemed to be a big thing in fashion shows on real world runways. I tried it here, with the Silk Dreams item at Rock Your Rack called Hera.

.PENUMBRA. Fashion Week continues day two (today is September 14 when this is originally written) and has so many things to share in such a short time, I don't know how they will get it all in but I know they will. For events to work successfully, the team has to have a plan and people in every pocket, keeping up with their details as part of the plan and then every piece has to happen at the right time. Those groups that put together seamless productions make it look easy but it's only like that because of the enormous work behind the scenes. I admire the team who are responsible for .PENUMBRA. and I'm excited for all that will be shared this week as a part of their event. *GLITTER* has several outfits they've introduced for Autumn/Winter 14. Instead of picking one of their outfits, I did something a little differently. The turban comes from one outfit, the jeans come from another outfit, and the third outfit offered the SLink style heels. I can tell the pieces are all from the same collection because they do mix and match well and tell a story about the designer. I try to pull from designers I haven't worn in an alternating sort of way, so that my blog and Facebook shares items from places I didn't know along with favorite designers whom I've known for a while. In this way, I hope it represents the event, whichever one it is at the moment, in the best way possible.

Chop Zuey continues to shimmer brilliantly as go to accessories. There's always something in my folder that's perfect for an outfit. Even if they're not brand new releases, but new to my blog, I will list them as 'featuring'. Once I share something on my blog, it goes into the numbered list under the featured items. This set of jewelry called Circus Maximus made me smile, especially when I visited the Serengeti to take the photos and met three massive elephants; it was a circus indeed. I'm also wearing a new set of makeup from my folders, Face Paint 'Warmth', and haven't shared it with you previously so it also is one of the featured elements.

A Little Bit Of Energy - Featuring *Living Imagination* at Rock Your Rack and .:JUMO:. and ~ghee from .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week

I store up energy a little at a time, and have to spend it wisely. Sometimes, under certain circumstances, I pour out a little bit more than I have to spend and end up working my way back to even par for a few days or even weeks after such a time. I wouldn't pass those moments up for the world, however. Today was one of those days. My new daughter-in-law turned 21. She seems too young to be 21 but I was 20 when I got married and my first birthday as a newlywed was to turn 21, but that feels like a million years ago. We had a little party planned as we're the only family she has locally and she didn't have a cake or presents on Thursday. It was so much fun, and so special to celebrate a new milestone in life. It also has me tuckered. Sometimes I have days where I feel tired, and there is no reason for it, and it's a bit depressing. On those days when I've had fun, pushed myself over the edge, and for a good reason, and I get tired, I celebrate. I know one South Carolina southern belle who will sleep soundly tonight!

To calm down, I came in and began working with a set of photos to show another item from Rock Your Rack. I have more that I want to show you and there never seems to be enough time. No matter how quickly I type, take photos or style. And that's a good thing in many ways. I wouldn't want to rush through this any more than I'd want to rush through a good time with my family. The steps of the process, choosing an outfit, accessorizing, finding a location, taking the photos, editing the photos, and writing to you are each important parts of the process, and I enjoy them all. I love what I do. In case I haven't said so lately, every single person I connect with involved in this passion for fun and fashion and life makes a difference in my world. I would not do this thing I do if I did not love it. I've had a selection of other odd jobs along the way, but this is the one I've stuck with for 3 years, the one I've worked the hardest to learn, to practice and to grow. I couldn't say it often enough how much each step along the way, each part of the journey, and each person I've met has influenced me.  Image Essentials Props and Poses have new items out at the Thrift Shop. I've pulled a couple of poses from the set called Sashay to use for this styling. I'm sure I'll go back and use them again and again. Such a southern word, sashay; it's something that makes me think of Scarlett O'hara. It's just awful how hot it is round heyah, my my my my my. I'm becoming used to the idea that .:JUMO:. puts together a massive amount of work for any new event and this remains true for this year's .PENUMBRA Fashion Week for Autumn/Winter Fashion. The jewelry set worn in my photos, Fascination Set in teal, looked as if it were designed to accompany the gown.

I appreciate the diversity of skin tones that October's 4 Seasons offers. There are 12 and each one creates a different inner voice when I use it. Each one also has to use different types of makeup, and items to accessorize in just the right way or the darker skins might overpower the look, while the lighter skins might wash out, so I take it as a challenge and enjoy all of them. With the new Laila face and skin tone Mocha, I looked at several different makeup combinations til I saw this Doe from Face Paint and had that aha moment.

This morning, I woke extremely early for no apparent reason so of course I went in to see what was new, and where things were going in the month of September. Lyrical B!zarre Templates tempts you with delicious shapes and unique design for something just a little bit different for a favorite club, a fashionable party or any other reason you want to look especially dynamic in public.

A little sex appeal never hurt anyone... so these pixels are for all of you out there who like a few sexy pixels now and then!

Carrie's Lingerie has a number of ways it holds your attention. First and last, however, are the classy yet sexy dynamic designs. One of her collections called the Seven Deadly Sins called to mind all of the sins mentioned in Dante's Inferno. (I know it's from Dante's Inferno because I might have once had a huge crush on Brad Pitt and he was in a movie called Seven with Morgan Freeman - an awesome movie to rent if you haven't seen it yet...)

Each sin had a special design and color and different pieces. After they'd all been released, the request for these same designs to be released in other colors was deafening.
