From Beloved Jewelry a Noella Set for Peace On Earth Hunt - POE7, Wicca's Wardrobe at The Couturier's Docks and >Asset< Hair Latest Release

From Peace On Earth Hunt 7 - One of the greatest hunts ever to be conceived in Second Life arrived, with glorious designs by so many of your favorite artists, you must check in and get involved. Beloved Jewelry's hunt item - the Noella set - comes with earrings and necklace suited to this season.
I also have new items from Wicca's Wardrobe, head to toe, from The Couturier's Docks. She's one of my favorite of all people and I didn't want to leave items unshared in my inventory. She calls the pants Anakari pants, the jacket is Charlotte and heels are Jane. Many of her designs end up being awesome for mix and match with pieces released earlier in the season. TCD runs a limited number of items so if you love Wicca's Wardrobe like I do, you should hurry!
One more thing I've received recently and haven't had the chance to show comes from >Asset<, a hair designer who continues to grow and evolve with each new design she creates. This Starlet hair comes from a collection released for November. When you have a chance, check out her shop. Most styles I've tried so far are easily unisex, making her styles more useful to more people.

Embracing the Good Days -- Featuring !Lyrical B!zarre Templates from The Couturier's Docks, Featuring Wicca's Wardrobe, also from The Couturier's Docks, Featuring >Asset< and Featuring {{BSD Design Studio}}

It's hit me, so to speak. There's nothing new to report on my horizon, but it's the time of year when everyone has the sneezles but I'm the one who gets in bed with a fever too. I feel on top of the world, despite the challenge, and so far I also feel like I'm ahead of the curve. It's 23 November, and I've slowed down a minute or two, maybe 3 or 4 blogs a week instead of 7-10, but that's good!
This time last year, I learned that the pain = cancer and complications and scared and fear and oh my goodness, life was complicated. In comparison, I'm HAPPY and doing well. It's all in the perspective. I know so many friends who struggle this time of year, with loss of loved ones, loss of job, loss of family or loss of health. I feel so passionately about reaching out, touching one another, networking beyond just the business aspect, to the core of each of our hearts, so that beyond the work, we each feel uplifted, remembered, and special.

It's a treat to prepare for the up coming events, and the monthly specials. I have a few items to share with you, and a whole heart to share in the process. First, Lyrical B!zarre Templates has this coat dress, Denara, on sale at 2Lei, I just learned from her that 2Lei was created by a group of people working collaboratively to raise money as well as awareness for the "International Day For the Elimination Of Violence Against Women" and Denara was created so that 100% of the money paid for this goes to support this cause.
The cool beyond blue jeans denim pants, Anakari, come from Wicca's Wardrobe, stylish, chic, and more than just another pair of jeans. BSD Design studio has several new pair of heels out and the ones shown in this style are called Lucky Days Raw Red Silk. Another designer with a plethora of new releases is >Asset<, and Pannan is a casual sleek little short 'do' for you to love. With all the arctic air blasting, even those of us farrrrrrr too far south for the cold air, this outfit felt like it would be just the thing to ward off that wintry assault.

Bustling Towards the Holidays -- Featuring Wicca's Wardrobe from The Couturier's Docks, Chop Zuey, >Asset<, Lyrical B!zarre Templates and Vestige Fashions from The Instruments

I stopped to take photos today when I popped in online. It's gotten crazy busy this past week, with family and gifting and holidays to plan, and I'm more alert and aware this year than I've been in many years, so I FEEL the busy. I'm excited about it! I feel like I'm thriving because of it instead of crumbling or curling up into a tiny little hide me now ball. I did catch a cold somewhere this past weekend. I don't care for them, but who does. I'd rather get normal colds any old day compared to what I faced this time last year.
So the photos... I put together items from several events, and eagerly begin looking for holiday type looks to share, because I'm in the mood. For this style, I pulled items from Wicca's Wardrobe at this past month's The Couturier's Docks event and know that any day now, new items for TCD will be ready to share. Meanwhile, enjoy the Juliet Bag and Juliet Hat. I've paired Lyrical B!zarre Templates with the items from Wicca's, a new gown called Anne. It's one of those understated gowns that wows with simplicity and beauty. The Romero Britto collection came out this month and will be something easily paired with a whole array of styles and colors because there's a color options HUD included with this great set from Chop Zuey. I don't believe I've had a lot of exposure to products from Vestige Fashion (one of many reasons I lovvvveeeeee event blogging, I get to meet new designers and style new creations all the time) and these poses from The Instruments event were perfect for the look I wanted. I'll share the poses a couple of times so you can see the variety of 10 from this pack called Female Noir. >Asset< released a whole array of new hair styles, and as is their tradition so far, I found that this style called Kitaru would work for either gender. I know it's not as easy to find items for the male population in SL, so any time something has a unisex approach, I'm happy to share.
New events are on the horizon. I'm excited about this year's Peace On Earth Hunt as well as the Jewelry and Accessory Fair (2). I had such a great time with the one from last year, that I cannot wait for them to begin. Both come in December, but I'm already chomping at the bit! See you soon. <3

Scaryn All Of You, Even Scaryn Me! -- Featuring Tresor Couture, October's 4Seasons and blackLiquid

Another Scaryn styling comes straight out of the mind of KarenSunshine, creator, designer and owner of Tresor Couture. I took this awesomely fun outfit over to the best Haunted House on the grid up at Carrie's Lingerie VIP, and took some photographs. Oh how fun.
I love playing dress up. Elvira, but suddenly the Country Song began playing in my head. Oh make it stop. Make it stop! LOL blackLiquid made some great blood red nails for appliers and October's 4Seasons has a Seduction Gloss out called Red Vines. All worked well together to make this spooktacular look for today's notes and blog.
Hope you're having fun with all the designers fun and frolicsome side as Halloween draws nigh - and I'm going to change my name from Scaryn to something very Holidays-y so be on the look out this weekend for something sweet as Christmas on your friends list to pop up!

A Shoegasm and More -- Featuring Lindy from The Promenade, !Lyrical B!zarre Templates from The Couturier's Docks, Divalicious from DEbRA, ~ghee from .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week, and Chop Zuey

Lyrical B!zarre Templates has a new pair of dresses with two different textures set for each of them at The Couturier's Dock. Please remember that TCD sells limited items, and once they're gone, they're gone, so don't hesitate to scoot on over there and check out this Fidelity Texture B and the others there also!
Another little bit to tease you, coming from DEbRA - also from Divalicious - a Mesh Heart charm bracelet that made me think of the first charm bracelet I had when I was quite young.

I sent Ms. October an IM last night when I saw the shoe box from Lindy, that included these Kinsey Katie shoes as (Rare) items from The Promenade. I told her I'd just received a shoe orgasm. Naughty, but so true! Really. I do love boots and shoes, and boots and shoes, and more boots and shoes. Check out the Gacha and see - no matter what you receive, they're beautiful shoes.

~ghee always makes interesting, colorful, useful, fun items. I've had these fog tights on several times and I couldn't figure out how to make them work with SLink heels, then when I put on the Lindy heels, I cheered. I knew I could wear them! When I looked at Autumn/Winter real world runways 2014, I saw tights were making a huge comeback and helped add layers to the warmer items marketed. These came out as part of ~ghee's .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week items.
How many thousand pieces of jewelry do you think Belle has made for Chop Zuey? It's like, "How do I love thee, let me count the ways." New gifts for members and non-members, spoiling all of us, seasonal pieces, creatively inspired art, all of that and more. The earrings called Gypsy Babe hung down to my shoulders. I resized them so they'd work with the faux turtle neck of the dress and loved the look.

An Array Of Autumn Goodies - Featuring Divalicious from debra Charity Event, Chocolate Atelier's from .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week, Lumiere and Persefona at Four Seasons Market

This morning, I woke with those snifflies that come around this time of year. I couldn't go right back to sleep, so at 5:30 this morning, I put this style together. By then the snuffles had calmed enough to rest some more. I laid down and 5 hours later!! I got up...
I have a plethora of things to tell you about, so let me start with the charity event debra that I will be blogging of and on from now, through the event's duration from October 25 - October 30. Since designers are already sharing items, I will try to sprinkle them through the month to remind you to mark your calendar. I also have a link to the website for more information and a place you can donate directly.

Divalicious donated an array of items that include the Mesh Stone necklace seen in the photos. There are also SLink heels and a Halter Dress Outfit. The new dress comes from Chocolate Atelier, debuted last week as part of the .PENUMBRA. Autumn/Winter 2014 Fashion Week. The shopping zone remains open to shop for fashion shared during this event for two more weeks, and you're also encouraged to visit the designer's main store to find more of their new releases. The incredibly FUN Autumn Wellies, a bright slicker white with leaves on them, come from Lumiere's selection of things at Four Seasons Market. Also from Four Seasons Market, I have little Leaf Accents from Persefona. There are several color choices and preset 'add' locations to wear them, but adjustable so you could move them around a bit like I have done.

Cooling Off -- Featuring >Asset<, Featuring Nya's Shop at The Instruments AND Nya's Shop at .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week, and .:JUMO:. at .PENUMBRA.

Nya's Shop had items out for both The Instruments and .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week so I used a combination of items from both to create my new look this morning. The dress, "Fooling Fall" in yellow comes from The Instruments while the boots and tights are from .PENUMBRA.
A set of jewelry from .:JUMO:. also from .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week makes any look a little more glittery. A word I think I just made up, but it fits. It is more glittery!
>Asset< has a new style released also, called Journey. There's something very "ME" about a loose ponytail, and autumn. I pull my hair up all summer so that nothing touches the back of my neck (to hot, ick!) but by the first days of autumn, it's always ready to tumble loosely into just such a ponytail as this. It's that time of year ago, finally cooling off a bit, and the days are getting shorter.

To Sparkling -- Featuring Sabra Style, Chop Zuey and Two Designers From .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week: Luna Body Art and Vanity House of Designs

From two designers who both have items out for .PENUMBRA. Fashion week, new nail appliers from Luna Body Art and a new purse and heels from Vanity House of Designs, I began to puzzle together this casual compilation. There are likely thousands of different styles for nail application out there now. Instead of tons of duplication, which I see happens often in the 'real' world, each new set I try has a different appeal like this new set from Luna.
I have shared a few items from Sabra Style with you previously and today, I have a casual top and jeans set. I've worked with a number of gowns and dresses. It was great to have something less dressy. I particularly liked the ribbed weave infused into the texture created for the top. I lived in Florida for a little more than 10 years and something sleeveless yet knit at this time of year would be just perfect for a walk down the beach.
Chop Zuey... have you been there recently? I don't know how she does it, but Belle always has new fresh items for us, seasonal items, special holiday weekend items, gems and jewelry of every possible color and setting I could imagine in a hundred years, and still, when I visit, I see something new. My passion for fresh and innovative ideas is equaled and excels at Chop Zuey. Every now and then, I get little items from her gift area, and if you've never visited Chop Zuey, you don't know how generous she can be about gifts which is a travesty because EVERYONE should know. I couldn't figure out how to use the Beaujolais barrettes in the styles of hair I had but I realized if I added them to my top, I could create a leaf-like brooch. Many of her pieces, I wear exactly as they were created, but on the occasion that I repurpose the items, I'm grateful for the broad use, and the generosity of a designer who makes my life sparkle... Literally!

An Autumn Breeze Blows -- Featuring Paisley Daisy from Rock Your Rack, >Asset< and [Modern Couture] from 24 Squared

The partnership between the two designers at Kyxe Skins & Shapes has dissolved with each creator taking their work in different directions. From now on, I will reference items I wear related to the previous name will be called October's 4 Seasons. Skin tones, makeup, nails and other accessories are available, with the same 12 breakdown of tones. For example, in this set of photos, I paired October's 4 Seasons Orchid with a dark design so the dress did not disappear. I remain committed at this time to exclusive use of October's 4 Seasons Skins.
Paisley Daisy created this unbelievably well designed gown, Elixir. The options include this Fire Black Gown choice or the Black Gown. I thought the highlights of fiery tones in bold oranges made the elements of the gown pop like wildfire. If you'll look closely at the second photo, you can see the peek of flesh all the way down the back. This designer and gown come from the Rock Your Rack event. There are still five days left for you to participate and do your part in helping to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Models Giving Back and Jamee Binder have worked tirelessly to make this successful. If you're unable to go over to the sim, we hope you'll contribute directly by following this link: https://www.stayclassy.org/fundraise?fcid=283425
24 Squared also remains in progress for just a few more days, open through September 13, so don't hesitate. You should go, go, Go! Hair from >Asset<, this one called Thor 2, may be found at 24 Squared. There are a number of different designs created for this brand including the exclusives and other great looks for both men and women. [Modern Couture] submitted an array of hats for 24 Squared, and this one, called the Crisp, looks perfect with the ensemble.

A Viking Valkyrie - Featuring h.m.a.e.m., >Asset<, .: LIKE DESIGN :., and M. Mayako; Also Featuring Xen's Hat from Rock Your Rack

This morning, I'm glad to show a few more items from the 24 Squared event that begins tomorrow (September 5), and more from Rock Your Rack, which has another week to go. Please remember that items from Rock Your Rack purchased will go to support an awesome cause, funding Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Please visit to enjoy the terrific designs created for this event and to participate in the charity fundraiser. If you prefer to donate directly, visit this website: https://www.stayclassy.org/fundraise?fcid=283425
Xen's Hat - the Green Beret - made me think saucy and sweet. It's easy to imagine being mischievous.  h.m.a.e.m. continues to create brilliant new shapes with a sense of joie de vivre. The mini dress Tasha has a sleek figure form, but then it plays with geometrical lines and shapes. Each of them are a solid color, yet because of the overall design, the dress itself stands out within an endless stream of basic minis. You can find this dress at 24 Squared.
Also from 24 Squared, a Viking styled Valkyrie hair from >Asset< will catch your eye. I styled it in the true Viking Rus (red) style to go with Kyxe Skins & Shapes Marigold version of Laila. Additionally, .: LIKE DESIGN :. created a new ankle boot that sports a metallic shine on the primary color, then accents with bold gold; you can find these boots at 24 Squared. M.Mayako also has a few items to tempt you, and from the outfit called Marinahh, I pulled earrings and bangles to complete the look.

On Changing Your Mind - Featuring Poet's Heart from Rock Your Rack, .:JUMO:. and Baubles! by Phe at 24 Squared; Also >Asset< New

The gown from Poet's Heart comes in several styles has a beautiful tropical option that I've seen blogged in several wonderful ways, and it's the 100% donation for Rock Your Rack, a fundraiser where designers like Poet's Heart contribute items and the funds go to Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I chose a different color, and when I saw one called Frozen, I had to pick it.
I read an article today about the movie, the animated full length picture from Disney animators that became an international success, grossing higher than any other Disney film yet. Some of the success, I thought, was related to the sound track and particularly the one track, "Let It Go." When the musicians for this film submitted the song, it was like a bulb turning on in the midst of a frustrating course of weeks and attempts at early writing to go with the tag boards and screen writer's concept.

After everyone heard the song, the entire movie was rewritten. The whole thing! The character Elsa was redrawn. The screen play was rewritten. The artists tag boards were rearranged, and on and on... everything changed. I often think as humans, there's some pressure on our shoulders to stick with an idea once it's spoken, and changing of minds is a 'bad idea'. Go with your gut, they say. I don't think that we're necessarily waffling or unable to commit if we feel that urgent need to change our minds. Sometimes, sure... you should stick with exactly what you've said, you've committed, you've promised, but sometimes, I think we should 'let it go' and give up everything to change. If we do, we might find ourselves living box office lives.
Shoes from .:JUMO:. fit the gown's coloring exactly. There are two colors of the Mannequin Stilettos, and both are done with the speckles and gold. These shoes can be found at 24 Squared. Also seen in this styling is the set of jewelry from Baubles! by Phe called Garden State. The green polished stone and coppery metal worked well for me, but there are other color options and metals to add to the diverse use of the set.
>Asset< created another slicked back unisex style, Leppard. As I've watched some of my favorite reality shows like So You Think You Can Dance, I've noted that hair products are coming back in a big way. It's not quite the big hair of the 80's yet, but hair stays exactly as you put it with the right goop! At least in our second lives, the goop doesn't get all over everything or make such a mess!

Please make time to visit the Rock Your Rack charity. If you choose not to buy items, you could donate directly to any of the kiosks at the event or you might visit this website to do so: https://www.stayclassy.org/fundraise?fcid=283425

Friends, Fun, Events and More -- Featuring A.F.I Designs, Moondance Boutique, Designer Showcase w/Lindy and 24 Squared w/.:JUMO:.

I'm home! This afternoon, I slept for more than a little nap, and feel like I might catch up soon. It's amazing how much sun and surf demand of the body. Even if all you do is sit there!

A good lady, great DJ and friend also happens to create content for sale at her store, A.F.I Designs. Every now and then, she nudges my IM and asks, "Want to blog something for me?" This time, it's this unique two layer mini. The alpha layer of the top piece is shear, and the second piece is solid. Chic and very fashion now.
Siren Productions puts together awesome events every other month. I don't know how they keep up with everything. I admire the work and enjoy participating as a blogger. Once, I even got to be one of their live models. If you visit 24 Squared, you'll see great designs like the clutch here from .:JUMO:. - only one example of multiple awesome pieces JUMO has at this event by the way!
Before I went to Event Only blogging, I worked with a classy group of various designers. The jewelry set I found in my folder from Moondance Boutique says "Earth Day" set. But it's something I haven't used yet, so here is Mia Earth Set. It matched the dress perfectly. So I'm glad I discovered it.

>Asset< continues to create a very middle of the road unisex style for hair, and this Lasher hair recently released follows that formula, and would suit either gender, depending on your aesthetic and personal taste. I find that I really enjoy using men's hair, especially when it's a short style. It's often scruffier, and looks more like the hair styles that are mussed on the runway.

Fixing My Mistakes - Featuring 24 Squared With >Asset< and Blacklace; Featuring - DE Boutique from Designer Showcase

This week I've been away, on vacation, and happily soaking up the sun. Perhaps the sun addled my brain or perhaps I did that all on my own. Either way, I've had a terrible time with focus and details. I've sent apologies to the designers that were effected by my loss of focus. I'm glad they were thoughtfully forgiving. I'm glad that I'm allowed to be human and err from time to time. I'm ready, however, to get my balance once more. I'll be returning home tomorrow.

Items I have to share include two items from the 24 Squared Event that begins on September 5. It's a Siren Productions event, and will include a variety of designers including the two represented by this blog. Within the time frame, fashion shows, live models, and post show parties are scheduled.
Blacklace offered this bustier and shorts combination, along with multiple colors not showing in the photograph as part of their 24 Squared elements. The variety allows for all sorts of mixing and matching and makes it easy to style.
>Asset< and this slicked back hairstyle, offers this exclusive Vono Megapack at 24 Squared and only then, will you be able to purchase it. It will not be in stores after the event. Also, a limit of 25 per color and 25 fatpacks will be sold, and then they will be gone for good. If you love it, you should haste to grab it while the gettins' good.
I thought this image would be a good way to close this blog. It's a little bit like how I feel. The Wild West event has been mentioned in a previous blog showing the Saloon Pose set. This pose comes also from IE from it's Slain set. Once in a while, when we over do it, we feel like falling out on the floor, and taking a nap... A N Y W H E R E. So I think I will.

Wild West Event and Image Essentials Props and Poses is there! -- Rock Your Rack Opening 1 September and [Alexithemia] is there!

Image Essentials Props and Poses gets involved in events all over the grid, and it's a wonderful place to visit if you're a photographer, model or just someone looking for a fun place to explore. Kay Weston puts together her own poses with props and poses she buys elsewhere. She pays the tier on an entire sim, and doesn't charge for membership or anything. It's one of the most remarkable places I've been and she's one of the sweetest people I've met. This 'Saloon' set comes from the Wild West event.
The gown comes from another super event, Rock Your Rack. Designers from everywhere are on board with Models Giving Back as they seek to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Research. You can buy this gown, Jupiter's Desire, by [Alexithemia] - a new business on the grid - and in the process, get an exclusive gown and something special that also donates to the charity.

Just A Little Bit More -- Sonatta Morales at The Month of Games and !Elemental at Designer Showcase

Yes, there's more to show you. Time is running out... tick tick tick... but that doesn't mean I can't race towards the finish line and show you a few more pieces from The Month of Games like this pretty short summery gown from Sonatta called Miss Cindy.
I've added jewelry new from the Designer Showcase for August from !Elemental Jewelry. The brilliant tones in Ophelia add a pop of color and the gold allows the tiny gold balls floating around the head like a halo and waist as well to shimmer.

It's Something Special -- Featuring NEW Jewelry from Chop Zuey and New Gifts Too!

There's something special about being a part of something bigger than yourself and that's always true in the Chop Zuey groups. I get to work with some of the finest, most revered models in Second Life and for one of the premiere jewelers on the grid. It's a dream job, a dream life, and one I feel like I should shout loudly, "Thank you!!!" every day or so because of the privilege.
Belle Roussel announced a new design release just in time for the weekend called Chromatica, a set of jewelry that includes earrings, necklace and a set of bracelets you can mix and match, all on a HUD that lets you choose metal and then colors to add. I mixed silver with red and blue and felt quite patriotic.
With the new jewelry, I also had a new outfit from Belle's Sky Boutique. If you haven't visited the Sky Boutique to see how Chop Zuey makes clothing and accessories into wearable flickery beauty, you should go! The Spangles Bangles and Fireworks outfit shows one example of this clothing that's also jewelry.
Also, the Yankee Doodle handbad should tempt you to try Chop Zuey accessories!

Thank you Belle and Chop Zuey for allowing me to be a part of your world and share your art:

Finger Likka Good -- Featuring LIKKA HOUSE from Fashion For Life - Also Featuring {ZOZ}

I've never tried anything by LIKKA House but when I tried on this precious outfit, I fell in love immediately. There's a black and white option that's shown in my photos and there's also a red/white/gold option.
You can find this set of outfits at Fashion For Life, and you've got to get there! It's on for 7 more days. Only a week, now. We're all doing an incredible job together to raise much needed funds for American Cancer Society cancer research for a cure.

Royals -- Featuring from Fashion for Life *Schoen* and JUMO

I don't know if anyone will ever create an actual time machine, but the world that Second Life presents to us all allows us to travel into time, back, forward, sideways, upways and downways. I love putting on flamboyant costume, bold and unique gowns, representations of so many eras of fashion, and embracing them each with love and thought for those who lived in that era.

I put on this brightly colored, wildly adorned dress from Fashion For Life and ahhh'd at it's majesty. It not from Elizabeth's era, but it's one of those gowns that commands attention. You could not be a wall flower wearing *Schoen*'s Auffaellige Rosen. The jewelry comes also from Fashion For Life, by way of the artistry of JUMO, the Faraji set in Emerald.

I've done quite a number of styles from Fashion For Life. It's an event that I passionately hope has been embraced radically, transforming a 'little video game that some people play' to a backdrop to raise millions for research for the cure for cancer. If you haven't visited FFL, you should. Designers worked hard to make it an adventure of fun and shopping, and at heart want the same thing I do, success in the form of financial support for Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.

So Summer... Featuring from Designer Showcase [Liv-Glam], Also >Asset<, A*S, and Essenz

Bright colors and unique textured patterns are a hallmark of the [Liv-Glam] look and this Dancehalls Days, that remains true.
The HUD contains options for three prints in varying colors as seen in my photos and the other three colors block a black and white bodice with a neon color at the skirt. Either way you wear it, you're going to find it easy to pair accessories.
New hair from >Asset< called Zhuge, A*S Rose eyepatch and Essenze Atlanta shoes add to my overall look along with favorite items from my inventory. I'm ready for summer, are you?

My thanks to the designers who made this blog possible:
