Dancing In A New Month -- Featuring Lybra from Designer Showcase, Featuring Loordes of London from The Instruments

After dancing the first day of November into existence with a few friends and patrons of Lybra, hanging out with the designers, Lybra Rage and Natzuka, I had to write about the new gown from their amazing array of art they create. This Olympia gown may be bought at Designer Showcase and though it's almost pure white, with the feather boa for the shoulders, and sleeves that are long, you'll be able to wear this any season, for holiday celebrations, or just to hang out and dance a new month into existence.
The shoes peeking out from under the gown come from Loordes of London, and can be bought this month at The Instruments. You'll find these heels along with several other styles, plus other items as well, so a visit will be worth your time!
I have to make a quick comment about the Angelina series of skins from October's 4Seasons. These skins compete graphically with the best skins on the grid. Period. They offer every option you might seek, for attachments, appliers, and mesh. There are different brow shapes, and stunning makeup that October creates each time she makes a new skin tone. She's taking the 'Seasons' theme, that will help you choose the right skin AND the right outfits and hair and other elements of your avi, to a new level and making sure you know when you're wearing what season, and educating in a positive way in the process. The last thing I have to say, the skins that are not the traditional pale, cream and tan, the ones that exemplify a native heritage like Indian cultures from India and Indian cultures from the Americas, a beautiful array of dark skins that could be from the vastness that is Africa or the indigenous people of Australia, those skin tones are better than any other designer makes them in my opinion, and not because I get paid to say so or because she's a sisterfriend. It's simply truth. If you haven't tried an October's 4Seasons skin, you should. They hold up under any lighting, at low or ultra level graphics, and on any runway. They're also awesome for the everyday Second Life girl who's looking for the best on the market. Angelina Milk and Walnut are sold at The Couturier's Docks, just a little longer, and limited supply. If you visit the main store, you'll find a new group gift just set out last night, and new releases of Angelina, makeup, and more. I do adore October, or as I affectionately nicknamed her Ms. Oooo. I also admire her business acumen and her incredible talented artistry. You will too.

Designer Showcase Begins Once More - November -- Featuring 1 Hundred and Loordes of London, Both Designers at Designer Showcase

1 Hundred and Loordes of London both have new items out for Designer Showcase November. The new really sexy pale lilac lingerie I'm wearing comes from 1 Hundred.
Called a Diva Bodysuit, it's alluring for all the right reasons and there are many color choices so you're sure to find the one that suits you best. Paired with it, a pair of wedges from Loordes of London, the pairs are # (Numbered) and this pair is #7.
I've got one of the new Lily Skin Tone (Angelina) skins on and because the Lily tone can be Spring or Autumn, it was perfect to go with this delicate color pairing and the casual side updo from Analog Dog.

Birthday Spectacular At Chop Zuey -- Featuring Chop Zuey; no. 7, Loordes of London and -{ZOZ}- from The Instruments; Liv-Glam, *{Kiko Life}* from Designer Showcase

I attended Chop Zuey's birthday bash, celebrating it's 5th birthday with style. As there are often gifts on the weekends, this weekend there were also, but this time, some of the gifts were over the top collections and loads of ways Belle chose to spoil all of us. A new set called Don't Call Me Betty was released as a gift with a limited stone set, however, the set I'm wearing has the option to change three gem stones and the metals in the jewelry to make it so adaptable. I warned Belle before I arrived that I was wearing something Spooktacular and a bit wild, did she still want me.
~laughs~ And so I did go and loved the chance to hang out with some of Chop Zuey's long time members/supporters and new ones joining for the first time. I had on a great outfit that looks perfect for the Halloween month yet isn't specific to Halloween, a top and shorts that Liv-Glam put together. It's name made me chuckle - Idiot School.
I had on tights that are lacy and deep blue that I made to go with the boots I wore Loordes of London French Quarter boots from the Instruments. Unique makeup came from *{Kiko Life}* at Designer Showcase and those wild wonderful lashes are no. 7 items from the Instruments. And I used the -{ZOZ}- nail appliers that I mentioned yesterday, Ghost Girl.

Who Is Effie Trinket? -- Featuring Baboom Couture from The Hunger Games, Loordes of London from Designer Showcase, [White-Widow] and ***Feel***

When Kyra nudged me yesterday, asking if I wanted to blog the new outfit Effie that she'd created for The Hunger Games, I was all excited. I really wanted to blog an outfit or two from that series of movies, and Effie is so so sooo over the top. It helped pull my gentle little elegant self out of the box I keep close at hand most of the time.
Baboom Couture keeps a current edge on an ever changing definition of chic. When I met Kyra maybe two years ago now (where does time go?!), she made me smile when she asked, if I would like to blog news for Baboom. The answer was and has always been since then a resounding "YES!" show me the news.
The really cute wedge sandals from Designer Showcase come in several different color leather and wood combinations and for a summer come fall look, they suited just wonderfully well. [White-Widow] creates some of the most unique makeup pieces I've found as I shopped. I first discovered it at Couturier's Docks, and since then have bookmarked their main store.

FASHIONART Faire: {NanTra}, .:JUMO:., D-Style, Loordes of London, Also New KaTink and Moondance Boutique

I'm fairly sure by the time the designers have a peek at this styling, they'll do a double take and wonder exactly how I got from the beginning to the end of this puzzle, mixing and matching pieces the way that I did. It ended up creating a whole other look, and sometimes that's the most fun of all!
The {NanTra} poses are still being run through, these from the Mod Mod World set. Now you've seen all 12. There's a set with a pair but since I don't have a partner, it's hard to do pair poses. I just get dreamy eyed.
.:JUMO:. created the basic gown. It had a gold underskirt, a sexy bra-like top and other pieces I took off so I could meld it with other designers. D-Style had the fitted mesh half vest and worn over that sexy showing a peek of skin looks like it's almost trying to be decent instead of a little naughty.
*~Damesfly*~ has blown my mind with the four options for hair they have for this event. I'm in love with this casual updo. I've never worn hair from there previously so I'm in hair heaven. I LOVE HAIR. Just in case anyone forgot. LOVE!!
The Loordes of London Kalaoa sunglasses are more than just a black plastic set. Colors around the rims make it as fun and fit perfectly against the great background from KaTink's Group Gift for May, May Fun Backgrounds.
More from Moondance Boutique to share as well. I used Emma (Desir Edition) jewels as well as LQ Mesh Nails as accents. Overall, I ended up with a radically casual fun for summer look, ready to cruise the beach for fun.

Thank you Designers:

I Try To Follow the Rules -- Featuring Loordes of London from Boho Culture Fair 2013

Loordes of London Main Store

This week I began to receive items from stores that I've never worked with previously. That's the exciting part of blogging an event like the Boho Culture Fair. I never know which designers will toss things my way, what those things might be and what they need or expect from a blogger.

As I read through Loordes of London's requests, I thought to myself, I could do this, for this event, for these people, but it would be a bit more of a challenge if I were to do it for every blog every time I blogged. I think it comes down to what each of us invest in and that's really okay.

I'm quick to share with others how they can depend on me and when they can depend on me. I in essence give out my own little packet of rules, and if the person accepts what I can offer and maybe a little more difficulty but does accept the things I cannot offer, then I do everything in my power to live up to those agreed upon expectations.

I've heard a lot lately about designers who are etching out more expectations for their bloggers. They do so for many reasons, and as I am my own brand and always trying to make sure my brand offers the very best possible, I have to assume that designers do the same and their rules and expectations for their bloggers have a purpose.

So I put together this little set of photos for Loordes of London, and their items for sale at the Boho Culture Fair. I'm glad I got to work with the colorful items. I added hair by a brand new store as well, from [Underscore] and I was glad to work with that designer as well for the first time. I also used new skin and makeup from Kyxe Skin and Shapes. Hopefully via my presentation, you feel inspired to check out the coming Fair as well as Loordes of London's main store, [Underscore]'s new store and Kyxe Skin & Shapes, which has a terrific new build under way that will thrill everyone!
