A Buffet Of Good Things - !Lyrical B!zarre Templates at 24 Squared, {NanTra} at The Instruments, and Bliensen+MaiTai at Rock Your Rack

On today's buffet, a little of this and that, and taking all the photos outside Lyrical B!zarre Templates because several pieces are mixed and matched from her designs. The three tiered skirt and top come from 24 Squared is called Gossip. The headpiece comes from Ghost and the gold necklace (there are two layered) comes from the outfit called Devotion.

Additionally, a new set of poses have been put out by {NanTra} for The Instruments, and here are 3 of the 8. They're available this month and are called Pret a Porter.

At Rock Your Rack, underway in the morning tomorrow! (September 1), you'll find all sorts of things designed to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Bliensen + MaiTai have the heels and bangles from a set called Pretty Poseur.

A Blue-Haired Whimsy - Featuring SAVIAD creations from Living Imagination, PoseWay, Swallow and [no. 7]

I know - I know - Blue hair? But it felt so fun to work with it as I put together this style tonight. I want so much to represent the various designers who have items at SAVIAD Spring Fair because many of them are designers who've awed me in the past, and content creators that I revered long before I began my own fashion journey.

An example today, this alluring gown from Living Imagination by Bodza Blackadder called Blooming Beauty inspired me to the edge of my imagination. She's one of the organizers of this event and wow!

I paired the unique headpiece from Swallow Skin and Accessory Second Life - Butterfly Neobaroque, because it had the same whimsy as the gown.

Poseway created several new sets of poses, and these are from the Chic set. I'll share more from them soon. Another event in progress includes the Skin Fair, and the makeup shown here comes new from [no. 7].

And finally, one other new element comes from Lyrical B!zarre Templates, these earrings from the Youthful set. I thank each of you who pause and look at the items shared here.

Mirror Mirror On the Wall

So much of what we do in the fashion industry is subjective. What works for one setting may not even come close to fitting another setting. Opinions run rampant and it can be just as easy to find empty praise as it is to hear destructive criticism. I took a break from preparing for the Face of October semi-finals by doing this collaborative styling. From head to toe, everything in this photo relays someone besides my normal 'me.' 

There are two new shapes from Scandelicious, new skin and outfit from Mirror's Enigma and jewelry from {{BSD}}. Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I don't see myself at all, and I think it helps me when I focus intensely to share myself in other settings. All of it helps me grow in this modeling choice I've made for my Second Life.

Bloggers R Us, Milo Bubblez and Lilu

Running an RSS Feed doesn't look easy but this Feed, managed by milo Bubble helps many people with the sales element associated to blogging and I'm grateful for her and what she does with her group. When she puts out items to blog, I try to be sure I snag them, to give a little something back to her.

This lovely black and white dress from Bubblez has the flirty fun you'd need for a walk in the park with your favorite person. Pick an unseasonably warm day or travel south. States like South Carolina seem unseasonably warm about 85% of the time. I'm always happy to see new items from Bubblez. Happy new year and thanks for what you do, milo!

Leri Miles at Winter Fair

I found a nurse's cap and mask and a syringe as well in my inventory and I thought they'd make fun props for this photo. It will only hurt for a minute, I promise.

Bubblez Design: An Angelic Me... Really!

I could be angelic, really... I could. Just ask... hmmm... nevermind. I don't think anyone I know would vouch for my angel-like qualities. At this time of year, however, it certainly is fun to dress like one.

This stunning confection comes from Bubblez Design. It begins with it's own jewelry seen as a sort of crown around the head, reminiscent of a halo, and a pearl necklace at the throat. I added pearl earrings from Artistry by ~E~ to match. Then something that is still relatively new, shear mesh, creates the robe-like covering. It does... maybe... a little bit... cover the body. It also divulges a lot of naughty secrets by the way it's designed. Golden panties are visible below the short skirt, and complete the look. With something this sexy, I'm not sure anyone wearing it could convince others that they were angelic! I added a pair of wings with particles, something very rare for me these days, but I just had to go all the way and get out my wings! I found mine at Curious Kitties last year as a holiday gift. Maybe you'll find some wings this year. Every time you hear a bell, an angel gets their wings.

New Releases from Bubblez Designs

These two designs couldn't be any more different from one another, and yet both are suited for autumn and very fashion forward.

Though this combination top and skirt is sleeveless and short, the colors are still perfect for this time of year, and in spite of the low dipping temperatures in the north this time of year, many places are still balmy and something cute like this little number would suit perfectly.

For something a bit more cozy, you can try the Shada Coat from Bubblez. This long sleeved, extra long coat certainly inspires warmth. It's cut in such a way that as you see in the photo, it can be worn without a top underneath. Or you could choose a favorite corset or tee and add another layer.

Bubblez Design: Rainie Dot Gown

Though the length of this dress is long and lends itself towards formality, its style is lighthearted and spirited and can be styled in many different ways to get different results.

Whimsical layers are dotted and hang at different lengths. This dress moves well while it's on and draws attention for that 'wow' moment. A bow comes with the dress, again adding a play youthful style to the overall look.

Bubblez Designs Costumes for October and Anytime

Bubblez Design has kicked October off with a bang, two great costumes for festivities this month or masquerade parties that run all year in our Second Life.

Are you a naughty maid or are you very nice? This little maid doll set works in a number of themed settings in Second Life, so you'll find it useful far past the customary costume parties this month. And then there's that bloody nurses uniform. My son makes me watch Zombie movies (ugh! LOL) and notoriously both doctors and nurses who are trying to help end up zombified if that's a verb. When I put on this nurse's costume, that's the first image that popped into mind. Zombified Caryn. Look out!

Bubblez Design: Lolita Vampiress Outfit

This flouncy mesh dress by Bubblez Design works perfectly for a variety of different interests in Second Life.

Matched with the right make-up and shoes, this could be a great Gothic get-up... or an Elvira party dress for Halloween gigs... or a Maid's outfit, just add feather duster and sneeze... One of my favorite features of this new release from Bubblez are the mesh gloves and I really like the rose applique at the waist. It catches the eye when placed against an otherwise black and white canvas.

Bubblez Design: Junie Mesh Overalls

I have been blessed with the privilege of working with several designers who are new to me as I joined new syndicated feeds this weekend. Bubblez Design is one of them.

I love all the different ways mesh has been wrapped around the avatar since it was released about 2 years ago and how much improved each new item appears as creative content makers figure out texturing and shape. This pair of black and white overalls comes with the simple black top underneath and is just perfect for apple picking or anything else you enjoy doing on a lazy weekend afternoon.
