You've Got a Friend -- Featuring A.F.I Designs (from Boho Fair), N-Core and Kyxe Skins & Shapes

Recently, I let the owner of A.F.I Designs know that a good friend was frustrated with all sorts of things associated to the business side of Second Life. Later that day, she asked me which store, and then still later that day, she had gone over to that store and gotten something or maybe several somethings.

Another day came and went and she sent me a quick IM about how she'd gotten a couple of friends together and gone back to the store. I was really affected by this. She said that she knew how difficult some days felt and how steep the tier felt on land sometimes as a designer.

When I told her that someone was in need, I was talking about encouragement. But when she heard what I shared, she took it to the next level and instead of just sending a note, or an IM, or a hug, she acted. She visited and not only that, she brought friends too.

Each person on my friend list is there for a different reason. I believe with all my heart that when any of us approach this Second Life like we might our first life, it transcends a game. I know that for me, when DJAFI went the extra mile to help, it meant a lot to me and trickled down in that special way things do, til her actions touched many.
